I was here for four days. A super fun experience! Hospitable and friendly hosts where you live in the house. I also liked that the hostel is located in a kampong. There is a nice place outside to chill (and smoke) and sometimes meet others. Highly recommended

Beautiful little spot tucked away from the main roads with a pond and garden. Shared use kitchen. Good wifi with very very nice host walking distance to all the museums

The host was very helpful. Since I couldn't rent a motorcycle, they gave me several phone numbers and even asked their neighbor about it. I'm very, very grateful. Also, the house is cleaned every time someone leaves, so it's always tidy. The only minor downside, but not really a big issue considering the price, is that there are occasionally motorcycles passing by, which can be a bit noisy, but wearing earplugs helps. Overall, it's a really great value for the price!

Thank you so much for your kind hospitality. We have enjoyed our stay in this peaceful and quiet hostel and the garden very much. We highly recommend this hostel. Jos and Henny made us feel at home there. Very clean, very good a/c, cooking facility and spotless rooms, restaurants and shops closer by.

Loved the atmosphere. The owners were very pleasant and kind. It felt more like a nice quiet homestay when I was there, which is just what I needed. The facilities are nice, the price is great and like I said before the owners were the best. Very kind and helpful. Could not recommend enough.

Just a bit far from main tourist area (20 minutes by walk)

I really liked it. The hosts are nice and remember your name. When you want to be in a less crowded are and want to sleep without traffic noise I recommend going to Ngampilan. Wenn und chill outside in the evening you can hear the frogs. The rooms are quite small but so there are only 3 people inside.

Hospitality and attention are priceless. Simple but cozy facilities. Everything is clean and orderly. Yos, the owner, is extremely helpful and an exceptional human being. Helped arrange a cheap motorbike rental and was always helpful to welcome me.

Shower cabin flooded the toilet as well. A lot of hair was on the floor. A window right above the bed lets in a lot of light. Recommend to put a curtain there.

The husband and wife who own this hostel have helped me a lot since the first day I arrived. We often chatted about the places I should see in the city and they gave me good recommendations. Owner Yos helped me a lot to rent a motorbike and even took me to places that provide motorbike rental services with his own motorbike. Yos is a very good man. The hostel was very clean, you can use the kitchen, the internet is good and there are many places to eat locally and markets in the area. There is also a seating area in the garden and beautiful fish you can watch :)

There were a few questions about the local sites that they couldn’t answer which I was surprised about. I passed on all the information I found out though so that should be solved now. Expect family home clean not hotel clean. We didn’t mind at all but just an fyi.

We enjoyed being in an area with the locals and not surrounded by the tourists. The couple who own the property were very helpful. Excellent recommendations for local food to try! We were grateful for the Gudeg recommendation! Very welcoming and friendly. Great vale for money.

Friendly host, clean and comfortable hostel that is located right in the middle of the artistic city. A good place for those who like to visit ArtJog and explore the neighborhood of the Ngampilan.

We were very well received. The hostes were very helpful and friendly. The hostel is well placed with everything around and a really quite street, which is hard to find. There's a kitchen where we could cook, which is nice in case that you gonna go for a sunrise ride by yourself, and everything is closed. The room was very comfortable and perfect for 2 people.

This is no fault of the hosts, but the tour to Borobudur and Prambanagan on their information sheet did not go well for us. Poorly organised, a lot of waiting around and ridicously overpriced if you have been to other temples in asia. We paid for the full experience but only got half.

A lovely family run hostel! The hosts were very welcoming and got us settled in quickly. They were very happy to help with suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to eat at. They also have a basic kitchen set up for you to use if you wish, with 2 gas stoves, fridge, toaster, and utensils. Facilities are basic and clean, but the beds are comfortable, and it is perfect for a couple of nights stay to explore Yogy.

Such lovely and kind hosts, they were so helpful with recommendations, and even took me to the pharmacy when I was sick. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the entire hostel feels very homely with a lovely outside area. A very good location and affordable! I would definitely recommend if you're looking to stay with great Jogja locals and are on a budget.
