Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenMy room was tucked away in a corner, offering a lot of privacy with lush greenery all around. I had a view of a bit of jungle and a rice field, and there were plenty of sounds and smells from the surroundings. Despite being in Ubud, it felt like being in the middle of a rice field. A short walk took me to a truly relaxing space. When my phone broke, the owner assisted me in solving the problem, which would have been quite challenging without their help.

SingaporeThe shower curtain was unnecessary and had some black spots, however the shower area was large and clean. I didn't use the shower curtain and would suggest getting rid of it entirely. I think if you have mobility issues, to also confirm if the area and room are accessible to you.
Such a wonderful place run by lovely people. On a path with beautiful rice terraces, warongs, massage places, small shops, and there's even a cute yoga studio across the road. It's a short walk to the main road but you could have an amazing stay without leaving the area. At night there's fireflies in the fields, and in the daytime wee birds and butterflies. I saw some people walking along the path with torches, but imo it's not actually that dark, the path is wide enough, and there's small lights that lead to the hotel. The bed is comfortable and there was even airconditioning, a minibar and an electric kettle in my room. Water was refilled daily. Breakfast was delicious.

DenmarkWe loved everything about this place. Lovely rooms, nice breakfast, great staff and the most wonderful surroundings! We had the pleasure of having Alit (son in the family) pick us up in Munduk and later also do a sightseeing tour with us. Can strongly recommend this! We had Alit’s father drive us to Sidemen, which also went smooth. With this accommodation and the area you won’t go wrong!! We stayed 4 nights.

RussiaIt's perfect as it is. Might be a good idea in rooms with small bathroom to have a water scraper to drain water after shower, and if you want to work from the room and have a lot of stuff it might be not enough tables to place them on.
It was a quiet and peaceful stay in the midst of nature. The staff here is just amazing, I woke up every morning with a smile :) The view is amazing, the location is perfect it's not busy, but 7 minutes walk (1-2 on scooter) from main road. Also, this is the most clean rooms I have ever seen in my life, the floor was squeaking under my feet :o

Nirwa Ubud Karma felt like a little paradise on earth! Enjoyed the place from the moment I stepped in until my last day. The location between the ricefields is amazing and quiet and at the same time, close to the center of Ubud and cozy bars and restaurants. Love the great breakfast, amazing view on the top terrace and very friendly staff.

LOVED our stay at Nirwa Karma. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They helped us hire a bike for the day, and as we were heading off early to explore they packed us a breakfast we were able to enjoy at the rice terrace! Really nice pool and rooms, and everything was very clean. Daily housekeeping and fresh towels provided. About a 5-10 minute walk to get to the main road. Highly recommend

Indonesia1) there was Bintang Beer, and Coca-Cola in my Fridge ( for an Extra charge ) it causes me stress ( struggle to Avoid Unhealthy drinks ) Wish to put in HEATHY DRINK or water only Because this location usually, customer visit for HEALTHY, PEACE, YOGA, NATURE Not a Party people 2) too small bathroom for '2 nights 1 mil' price ( no breakfast included price) 3) No proper Parking space (The access road is Super-narrow and Long, normal size Nmax / Pcx would very struggle. I need to parking in front of other cafe, not easy to take spot) overall okay place but Price 350k / night is fit for this place

The pool in front of the house is also amazing, and clean. The owner is very kind the whole stuff was nice, and always ready to help if needed. Breakfast was delicious.

NetherlandsMake it easier to find the hotel. Hang up signposts at the main road. The photo of the hotel in the middle of rice fields is not the actual situation anymore, so remove it.
The photos on the website are much more beautiful than the actual situation. The staff is very good and the area is very interesting.
