Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

Some parts of the room are not quite clean.

All employees need to speak minimum basic english, for exemple when I order simple things like Sprite or bottles of water they should understand what I need. Im not asking for the moon :) Except that, everything was extremely good !!!

It's not quite centric, but at least is not far from the airport. You need a taxi to reach anywhere. Guess this is normal in a big city
The hotel was really nice, the room was clean, spacious, with all the amenities you need. Bonus point for the refillable water bottles and dispensers everywhere. Gym is basic but perfect for a little workout. The pool is nice and spa was good as well.

Second time round was all good.
This was our second stay in a matter of 3 days in this hotel. What I really appreciated was that on our first stay - which wasn't excellent they asked us for a written review - the second time we stayed they improved and attended to the flaws which were present at first. The room provided was way more comfortable for 3 people and room was ready at check-in. Room was clean. All was good. Breakfast was plentiful and wide selection.

We had booked for 3 people and the room was not ready for 3 - had to wait for the extra bed and called 3 times to get it + with the extra bed it became impossible to move around.
This was our first stay here. The amenities in the room were good for a 1 night. There is good room service. The bathroom was big and spacious with a good shower. Breakfast was big and abundant.

Room carpets need sanitizing as both me and my wife experienced sneezing frenzy.
We stayed in the this Hotel as transit to the Prigen, the room is spacious and of decent quality, staff friendly, breakfast option are good, location is bit away from center though transport is available easily. The stay was very decent and I appreciated the early checkin help. Overall very decent experience.

No power plug in the bathroom. A bit far from the city center.
Spacious clean room, great bed and shower. Loved the pool. Very efficient and friendly reception desk. English speaking TV channels.

Nice gym, generous space and open areas, very nice staff and service. Cafe Parigie has first class freshly ground varieties of Indonesian coffee, manually brewed for very reasonable price

having in mind this is supposedly a four stars hotel there were some aspects that in my opinion didn't reach the level, the airport shuttle wasn't included and it was in fact quite expensive; i asked recommendation for currency exchange and they sent me to a three building shopping mall that offered no such thing, they dropped me there no charge but they wouldn't offer way back drive. it'd be nice if staff could be better informed.
the hotel as infrastructure was really great, the beds are very comfortable, even the tv channels were in english, swimming pool is a big con since surabaya is incredibly hot, there's a small convenience store and bank right in front so it is very convenient.

It was disruptive with the fact that of religious and other activities but for a short stay it was still a very favorable stay.
Breakfast is always very good and lots of choice and tasty.

Surprisingly basic TVs with no smart function (Netflix etc) which was a shame. Shower didn't have great pressure and was also only warm at best - an engineer kindly came to take a look but even then it wasn't very hot at all.
Very modern and comfortable rooms. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Efficient processes in place when it came to housekeeping and receiving/passing on food deliveries. The gym/pool area was also very nice, with plenty of spaces to sit around the pool. One of the biggest breakfast spreads I've seen in a hotel and the staff were very accommodating with providing us vegetarian options.
