Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CyprusNothing - everything was great!
Beautiful, new property on the outskirts of Canggu, far from the noise and traffic of the center. My favorite accommodation after 3 weeks in Bali. Lovely staff, delicious breakfast, clean, comfortable bungalows, 2 swimming pools and very reasonable prices. Do yourselves a favour and book a stay here!

AustraliaI wish I had booked for longer
I loved the location, the atmosphere, the attention to every little details and the warm smile of the staff. I felt in true touch with nature and it was healing for my spirit and soul. The room was spectacular in its simplicity and I loved the open bathroom and all the eco friendly touches. Also the welcome coconut was a lovely touch. We had breakfast arranged by the pool, freshly made for us! I really recommend the protein shake as a boost for your day :)

ThailandI had the most incredible stay at Nunu Bali Resort! The location is simply breathtaking, nestled in the heart of nature's beauty. The staff and owner went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional – their warmth, attentiveness, and politeness were truly heartwarming. I felt like a cherished guest throughout my stay. Nunu Bali is a hidden gem where nature meets unparalleled hospitality. Can't wait to return!

SingaporeNunu is such a special place! Firstly the owner is an absolute sweetheart as are the staff; they’re all so caring and attentive. I had the honour of hosting a special Satsang gathering here; the shala was priced at a really affordable rate and I decided to stay for a night too to make the most of it. The rooms are traditional Indonesian Joglos finished to a high standard, super comfortable beds and linen, clean and luxurious. They’ve even thought of every detail down to providing toxic-free toiletries, incense, etc! The facilities here are great — 2 swimming pools, shala for yoga/movie nights, and even a little ice bath. They also have a communal kitchen where you can cook your own food which is great for longer stays. Location wise this is only about 15 mins from Canggu, and it’s such a wonderful hidden gem to get away from the busyness. There is nature all around, and they even have access down to a beautiful river just across the road. I absolutely loved my stay and will 100% be back again and again!

United StatesNothing.
Omg, this place is such a little paradise. It's so calm, peaceful, and beautiful. A real escape where you can enjoy the beauties of nature and really allow yourself to be taken care of. I adored my stay here. My room was gorgeous, the bed was so comfy, the wifi was good and everything was so clean. The breakfast was delicious and the staff and owner are so sweet, helpful, and caring. This place is a gem.

United StatesIt was more remote than I realized and rained most of the time which meant activities were canceled including walks to the waterfall which I was looking forward to. It also meant there were limited food options, especially being vegan. I read the menu beforehand and saw that there was decent coffee but the "latte" turned out to be instant coffee (not even the delicious finely ground instant Balinese coffee) and some not very good plant-based milk which felt purposely deceptive, bad instant coffee and milk doesn't make a latte by any definition! I also tried the chia pudding which I make myself and order frequently and it was awful, thick thick peanut butter with heavy coconut cream. The small communal kitchen allows you to prepare your own food but need to get a grab or rent one of their motorbikes to get groceries.
Beautiful grounds, friendly helpful staff, on site yoga and other daily activities. Great place to go if you want to relax and do nothing

United KingdomThis little place has so much potential but comes with a few issues for me. The treehouse needs a deeper clean, particularly in the corners and on the ceiling, it would significantly improve the overall experience. We encountered a small gecko during our stay, and unfortunately, it left droppings on the bed sheets. The lack of a mosquito net made for an uncomfortable night's sleep due to several bites. The bathroom below the treehouse had a noticeable musty smell from the humidity, which unfortunately impacted the smell of our toiletries. I'm not sure what can be done about this due to the weather but it's certainly not pleaseant And finally, the coffee was not so good. It didn't taste like coffee ☹️
Staff are amazing, really helpful and friendly. Food options are great, lots of vegan and vegetarian options and everything is fresh👌 Yoga classes twice a day and a free activity to take part in everyday, was a nice touch 😁 Loved being deep in rice fields with all the wildlife, very picturesque 🙏

RussiaFemale dorm wasn’t clean enough. At my first night there the electricity was cut off because of the rain and there was no one at the reception, so we just had to stay in a really hot room with a lot of mosquitoes without any fresh air all night in complete darkness. It was like in a horror movie for sure. The problem was solved only at 6AM in the morning, so I had a really terrible first night there, I also got like 15 mosquito bites in the room which was my record. Food is not as tasty as I expected. Among vegetarian options they have only fruit bowls. Btw, juices are really bad! I ordered something like a green juice, I don’t remember exactly, and it tasted just like a water for 40 or 50k. A normal juice doesn’t taste like that(( I also didn’t expect additional charges for yoga classes.
It’s a nice quite place with very kind staff working there. Swimming pools are great. Towels were very clean. Movie night and tea ceremony were great!

PolandThere was absolutely no one to open mouth to for me not in my 20s. When travelling solo it may be a problem as you may end up feeling stuck like on a deserted island, eating food you would not normally eat. Fruit market was quite far. Quality of delivery was discouraging. It rained most of the time, rainy season is Bali is not such a good idea. They charge you for things they weren't selling in first place, just trying their luck.
Looks pretty, plenty of nature, bathroom would be gorgeous if it didn't rain. Shower was very pleasant with mist shower head. Restaurant staff were nice.

GermanyUnfortunately the inexpensive dorm room is misleading re. the budget-friendliness of this place. Food, laundry, massages, everything is rather on the pricey side, even without the 21% fee that then comes on top of it (on top of everything, even though not clearly stated). The Warung was closed, which was not announced in any way, so the options for food where quite limited (and even more expensive). Especially for food this can be difficult for backpackers who are on a budget, since there is nothing around that could be an alternative. The staff was nice, but not very proactive. I only found out that there’s another part to the resort on my 2nd day, that there was a kitchen on my last day. On one of the mornings the pool in front of the dorms was being occupied by a musician and a camera team making a music video - again, no announcement or information about this reached us at any point. Except yoga there were no activities whatsoever, which considering the remoteness of the place was a little bit of a shame. The place is 100% relying on the guest community, which during my stay was basically non-existent because we were on average 5 people (coming and going). Considering all of this, I wanted to shorten my stay and it took the manager 3 days to sort out the cancellation. In the end it was me who made it work with booking.com. The vibe is much more pretentious-luxury-influencer than laidback-yoga-retreat. If you know that and you like it, you should be fine here.
Absolutely stunning resort with two pools and the cutest little bungalows. Super comfy bed, beautiful outdoor bathroom, everything is clean. So much space to linger around and chill. Yoga (NOT included in the booking) takes place every morning and evening in a big outside shala. The food (also NOT included in the booking) was very yum. It could be the perfect place to kick back and relax for a couple days (or even more), but..

PolandRuined holiday. I would have gladly paid for the room if I could have saved my holiday and airplane ticket if resort had told me about a situation they knew about that was a deal breaker for me. I mean the resort didn't inform me of a lockdown due to national celebrations, which lasted 28pct of my stay. They said they had informed other guest ahead, but thought I wouldn't mind because I stayed at Nunu last year for 3 nights and didn't complain. But I am an adult and can think for myself. And we were in touch on Facebook even days before arrival. They said it's ok to have a bad holiday sometimes. But it wouldn't have been bad if they had told me because I would have gone somewhere else. I flew 19hrs only to get stressed about lockdown and to be checking flights to get out but those were full. They offered to refund everything, eventually refunded only 2 nights after a week of trying excuses not to. But those 2 nights Nunu and other resorts in Bali weren't even selling, I figured when I tried to move closer to airport, so I am not sure how I booked them in first place. To be locked for 2 nights just to leave the following morning. So it took a lot of stress to refund nights I was missold in first place. Besides, they didn't understand that I didn't have to come to Bali, I could have gone to Thailand or Bahamas, if I had known. I didn't wish to be locked down 28pct of my stay, one day with nice places closed, another day full lockdown. Booking.com said it was resort's responsibility to inform. When I talked to Nunu they said don't talk to us because you are causing us stress. But it was ok to cause me stress. Food that was on the menu I would not eat normally but quality of delivery was as disappointing so I didn't have much choice. I really don't care about bugs on the floor. However the ear wig I had in my bed may have given me a heart attack if it went to my ear.
It looks nice.

South KoreaThe owner charged me almost 1million IDR more than the price given by booking.com. They charged me for breakfast, coffee and water I had in the morning even though my room "came with breakfast". The staffs seemed very lovely and nice offering me coffee/ drinks, or asking me if I needed anything else during breakfast, but no one told me those were added to the bill. Plus, during payment, he charged me 11% service tax aside from the city tax, which none was forewarned by the booking agency. I booked for 1 week but ended up staying for only four nights because of its distance to the city center and there are so many bugs crawling in during sleep even with the doors all shut. And since the day of check-in, the owner kept asking me to give him a good review almost on a daily basis. And I really wanted to even with the hundreds of bugs crawling in, but I decided not to after experiencing the situation given above.
Staffs are nice except for the owner.
