Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesGreat place with very friendly staff. I liked the location, but definitely need a scooter since it's bit out of town. The roosters get super loud very early in the day, make sure to have earplugs if you aren't a morning person.

LatviaA pleasant and peaceful environment away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the city center. Very nice and warm staff, as well as the owner himself. Everyone cared about my well-being. Nice and clean villa. Would love to come back here.

United KingdomNeighbouring roosters , not the hotel fault , but it is part of being out in nature , honestly the place was great.
Room was nice , pool was good , place was clean , was a very nice villa in a spot out of the busy streets of the town. The AC worked well, there is a small kitchenette with mini fridge and also mosquito netting if you wish to have the doors open

United StatesI wish I knew people in Ubud burned things every day in the rice field. If I had known that, I would have skipped Ubud, or shortened my stay. Also when I visited, there were ceremonies to celebrate the dead. One of the neighbors was very serious about the ceremony, and play really loud music and other weird crying and laughing sound for more than 24 hours straight. A few of the guests and I couldn't sleep, even with earplugs in. It was just our luck, it wasn't the hotel's fault.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. My flight was delayed, I didn't get to the property until 2am. The owners was kind enough to check me in. The 2 young men who worked there remembered what I liked for my breakfast by the 2nd day. They were always polite to me. The location was about 15-20min drive to downtown Ubud. It was nice to have some peace and quiet. I went in July. There was no problem with the bathroom flooding or bugs in my room like other people wrote.

SingaporeNothing to dislike.
Located in a village, and the villa is shielded from the noise of traffic. With only 4 units, it provided a very quiet and comfortable area with its large garden, swimming pool. The sound of roosters and birds as early as 4am took us back to the times we grew up in a rural and farm setting. Short walk to a waterfall (except that the climb is steep, and there were no railings) and a hidden rice terrace which was just lovely.

GermanyJust not to say nothing: the shower drain was a little slow and the bathroom floor was wet after a shower, but at least the toilet stayed dry. Also, we booked it with quite a discount. At full price it is less of a bargain and would have been to expensive for us, but you still get a great place.
This was our favourite place to stay in Bali. We felt so cozy and comfortable. Everything was new, clean, nice and we had everything we needed. The staff was great as well. The breakfast was good, the pool was awesome and lit up at night. The bathroom was well ventilated. There was a hair dryer, fridge, kettle, mosquito net, shower curtain and air freshener. It's not in the center of Ubud but with the scooter just a short drive away. Apart from some roosters it was also quiet.

GermanyThere was something in the room, possibly a large lizard or bat, that left droppings. Outside, there was an aggressive black dog. Although people claimed it didn’t bite, it did try to. If you have children, this could be dangerous! One of the staff members couldn't speak English, so we needed a translator all the time. She spent her time at the entrance watching TikToks and wasn't helpful. The bathroom was left open after the cleaning, which could result in being swarmed by mosquitoes.
Breakfast was good and good portion. Location is good, outside Ubud with not so much traffic. Room was nice.

CyprusMost importantly this place was grossly misrepresented. There was no TV in the room, the bathroom flooded every time one had a shower, the water pressure was intermittent, the breakfast was really bad and communications with staff difficult. After the first night when our bathroom flooded we were offered a room change which we took, however again the bathroom was flooding with each shower but that night there was heavy rain and the roof started leaking in the bathroom and over our bed. The next morning I complained and was met with indifference. I called the CEO of the management company who was very understanding and I demanded proper alternative accommodation as this was totally unacceptable with leaking roof. Later that day we were moved to a different hotel which was acceptable. Overall our experience with Nyamane Ubud green villas was most negative and seriously put us off Bali. The staff simply showed indifference when problems were indicated to them, they simply said they would tell Boss, and simply did not at least not until pushed to do so. The whole place gave the impression we were in the middle of a chicken coop and could not stay in bed beyond 6am as the cockerel would insist on waking us up and continuously reminding us of his existence until we would leave the property for a day out. It was like invading some ones back yard.
The air con worked
