Origin is a small oasis boutique resort outside of Kuta Lombok. The staff was great and the common areas are really beautiful and well taken care of.

The staff was super friendly and kind but lacked english knowledge (mostly the trainees). Therefore there were minor mistakes when ordering food/drinks. This stands out maybe a bit more especially because the service fee is 11%.

We stayed in Origin for 4 nights and ejoyed our spacious room with all the facilities. Everything was clean, staff friendly, food very good, pool clean.. would come again.

I wasn’t prepared for how hard it would be to get around because of the lack of gojeks and grab but that’s it. Everything was great

We LOVED the hotel. It was beautiful and we had the best stay. The staff were incredible, anything they didn’t have available on site they easily organised. You do need to be able to drive a scooter to get around or hire a driver but it’s close to Kuta and so many incredible beaches. There is construction but the noise didn’t bother us at all. Also the SPA is a must do, the Hawaiian massage was incredible. Plus they had options for kids at the spa. Seriously best place ever

The mattresses were a bit uncomfortable

After 5 weeks of traveling in Asia, we only really got to relax in Origin Lombok. The hotel has a very nice small complex with a great pool where you can really relax. The food is also delicious, which is why we ate lunch at the hotel every day. But now the really special thing about the hotel: the staff. They make your stay at the Origin unforgettable with their friendly and warm manner. (A very special thank you to: Hamza, Day, Rika and Fatima <3) We looked forward to our day at the Origin every morning. We traveled with our baby and the Origin team always took the little one off our hands while we ate, played with him and laughed. So we could relax. In general there was a great atmosphere. We loved our stay and even extended it. What else is great: - the location is great. A few minutes from Kuta center, close to tanjungan beach and mandalika beach - the staff helps with every issue (scooter, printing papers, baby bed etc.) - you can use the pool and beach at the partner hotel amber (40 min away) for free - good day trip.

There is construction going on which I wasn't told about until I arrived. It's hard to relax when there's a nail gun going off constantly. I got a pretty good deal so it was ok but if I was paying full price I would have been annoyed.

Origin is a really nice place, the staff were wonderful and the rooms and pool and grounds are lovely.

Water pressure in shower was marginal, its close to the racetrack so if a raceday is on be prepared for noise during day but if you are out shouldnt matter.

Staff were great, room and bed was very comfortable. Facilities and breakfast was awesome. Was quiet with excellent food if you didn't feel like heading out. Will need a scooter or transport to get to town but the quiet is worth it. Thanks for the card tricks Roni.

This was the best place to stay in Lombok! Everything was so beautiful ! The breakfast every morning was amazing and the dinner was very good! I recommend everyone should stay here! The town was a 8 min taxi ride and the best beach was 10 min away. You book a moped through the hotel! They were extremely helpful!

We liked everything

We had 8 nights at Origin and we definitely loved it everything. Location is outside Kuta center which make it very special, because Kuta is very loud and too busy. We had the Pool Access Suite and was a great option, as we had the pool 3 steps from our room. Rooms are very spacious and clean. The pool is a dream full of beautiful trees 🌴. The staff of the restaurant and the whole hotel, were all very friendly, kind, helpful and funny. The food was very delicious and quite good prices. Breakfast was a buffet and there was very delicious options. We really recommend Origin Resort if you wanna spend some days in Kuta Lombok.

The only one tiny thing is that at the time we were there there were some construction works going on but I understand they just have to do it if they want to expand a bit ;)

What did I like? I loved literally everything. You would also love it straight from taking the first step at this property I guess. The service is just exceptional, everything is well organized, anything you ask for you get it. I asked the staff for a little surprise because of our anniversary and we were so surprised with our room being decorated with so many flowers, oh! I know I am excited but I would recommend this place to each couple. Live music - awesome. Food - awesome. Beds... aweeeesome. The curtains in our room made it dark easily so we could sleep long hours. I enjoyed SPA too. DECOR!!! Wherever you look it's so consistent, everything goes together so well (even the sunbeds with some flowers in the garden...). I had the best 5 days of holidays here. Hope to go back one day :)

This is my first time staying at Origin. The staff is so friendly and extremely kind, happy, and welcoming especially Medy, Rony, Nana, Alvin, Ilham, June, Hamzan, Irika, Fajrin, Ariya, and Dayoo. They have all been fantastic, and I am very sad I have to leave them. I hope the owner knows they have the best staff!

The sliding doors didn’t align quite right and allowed some bugs in. There was insect spray available in the room though. While the aircon worked, we still got warm during the night. The location is a bit outside of Kuta town. It’s no more than a quick trip on a scooter but too far to walk for those not comfortable on a scooter.

The staff were incredible. So helpful and attentive. The grounds are well kept and clean. Great restaurant and pool hangout spots. The room was clean with comfy bed.
