Room was very small and the bathrooms weren't the cleanest. Drain smell in parts of hostel. Hostel is definitely older than in the pictures

Nothing. For a budget price like that, we got everything we asked for.

Ostel by Ostic is perfect as a budget hotel. We were on a bike riding tour and just need a place to have a short rest before going back to Jakarta. We booked 1 room with a double bed. The room has windows and curtains with a view to the alley of the 2nd floor. The room has basic furniture, just a bed, a table and a side table but they all very clean. The room has AC and worked properly. The premise has few sharing bathroom and clean. It has a communal kitchen and dining area. They also provide ironing facilities. The staff was very friendly and fast respond. Just remember to take off your shoes/sandals before entering the place.

I didn’t like sleeping on a mattress on the floor - the least you should expect in an accommodation provider is a proper bed and being on the floor, meant that ants came on my bed. Other than this, everything else was clean and ok.

The staff here made this business great - they were friendly, helpful and chatty. I liked being able to use the kitchen and the location was perfect.

Small hostel, near the train station. Staff very friendly. Kitchen available for use and there a fridge to leave your stuff. You can rent a bike there

Super thin walls so you hear everything from other rooms and the backyard, no one seemed to respect the quiet hours from 10pm to 7am so I had a very hard time falling asleep

Beautiful and super clean, the staff is super friendly and helpful (they even managed a scooter rental for me that got dropped off at the hotel when I needed it)

From our bathroom came a very pungent smell, something like the sewers, so we preferred not to use that one but the instead used the shared bathroom, which were always super clean!

It is a super nice location, clean and the staff was great ! The location is also perfect, you can walk from the station to the hostel in around 25min or take a grab car but depending on traffic that might take longer both are perfectly doable

The location is not where I would personally stay again in Bandung - however you can get a car anywhere quite easily, but it did feel slightly sketchy at times and our first night we definitely wandered into the wrong area and weren’t sure about Bandung as a whole. Once we started exploring other areas we LOVED Bandung. If you stay here just plan to get up and go to other areas and spend the days in different neighbourhoods (you want to be the other side of the river!)

Great value for money, the price of our room made it easier for us to explore other areas as we didn’t feel we were wasting money.

The bathroom in our room was smelly. In-room cleaning (daily) should be considered. Our room was not cleaned daily (only the first day because we requested). Toilet roll was not replenished and our trash bin was not cleared from day 2 until we checked out.

We arrived early and were glad that they were able to check us in (an hour) early. Comfortable room. Location wasn't bad. Non-smoking indoor area. Overall, you get what you pay for.

The staff was very kind and always responded with a smile. It is located within a walking distance of Bandung train station. I enjoyed local food at some local restaurants close to the hotel.

The hostel was not so clean, as toilets and showers were not cleaned regularly and trash cans in the toilets and hallways were not cleaned, which came with a smell and flies and cockroaches.

The hostel had a good atmosphere with a nice garden. The location is good (close to supermarket and the area is nice). The private rooms are very affordable.

Could be cleaner. Room and bathrooms a hot run down. But in total excellent value for money.

Very reasonably priced. Stable WiFi. Common area to hang out. Friendly staff that as always willing to help and providing a map with recommendations. Laundry, supermarket and restaurants / cafes round the corner. Walking distance (15 min) to train station.

Only very small remarks: the walls were quite thin so a bit noisy, the window above our door didn't have a curtain so when the light in the hallway was on, there was a lot of light in the room

Really nice place for the price! The staff was so nice and helpful! They helped us book an amazing tour around Bandung and a shuttle to Pangandaran.
