The way the restaurant cook pasta :)

Staying at Pandanaran Hotel makes us easy to go anywhere. The location is superb which near to bank, souvenirs shops, Simpang Lima area and even the historical Lawang Sewu building which only walking distance. The breakfast is good and we can choose from eastern and western meal. In one evening when it was heavy rain outside, we had dinner in the restaurant too and the meal was good except the way they cook pasta. Sometimes it's too soft, and sometimes it's not well cooked. The room was quite spacious for 3 persons in 1 room.

The pool areas tables and chairs were old. There was only one sunchair that you could use and there was three of us :) We tried to book a driver from the hotel to Jepara harbour. The hotel gave as double the price that our other hotel at Karimunjawa offered for us for the same driving. But this of course might not be the hotels mistake. They told what the taxi company told the price is. :)

Pandanaran hotel is clean. The rooms are clean and there is hot water with good pressure in the showers. The pool area is beatifull and the pool is clean. The staff is really friendly and try to do their best for the quests. We had some problems with english language but everything worked out really well. Breakfast is good and tasty :) The hotel is situated near Simpang Lima. There is some small warungs near hotel.

Good localisation, reasonable price, helpful staff, parking available, breakfast included in price, nice room, clean bathroom it is everything you need during long trip, and everything of these we got in this hotel - this is definitely a place worth recommending

The hotel could benefit from some renovation, especially with regard to the furniture, which feels a bit outdated. A refresh in the decor and furnishings would certainly enhance the overall comfort and aesthetic of the hotel.

I stayed at Hotel Pandanaran and had a pleasant experience overall. The staff were incredibly helpful and always greeted me with a smile, which made the stay feel warm and welcoming. The location is excellent, right in the center of Semarang, making it convenient to explore the city and its attractions. The breakfast offered was also a highlight, with a good variety of options that catered to different tastes. It was a great way to start the day.

The water in the pool is too cold 🥸

Facilities, bar, reception, buildings and the views. I had booked us the deluxe double bed room on 4th floor, couldnt be much better. Good parking area with security, happy staff. Always willing to give us a hand if needed, or in need of assistance. They gladly helped us with our aircondition not functioning well, and made me sick the day after we arrived, and fixed it with their engineers. So all in all, it was a nice stay with all needed.

The bathroom needs to be refreshed

Location is central, breakfast options are good, food is delicious. They offer family room which is quite convenient. They don’t use disposable water bottles, which is very good. They provide water jug instead and we can fill it up with water from the dispenser in the corridors.

There was an issue with my request for additional beds. Although confirmed in booking.com, there was one particular member of staff at the reception that was particular about trying to prevent us from having the bed without a charge. After discussion with the manager, and showing my reservation on the booking.com platform, it was waived. Same guy tried to get more money from me for breakfast, after paying for the additional breakfast, after we had realised the booking of one of two rooms didn’t include it. Be careful with choosing breakfast or not on the platform.

Swimming pool and the location were excellent for the money. The breakfast was good too.

The pillows were a bit hard.. Curtain in the bathroom dirty Small leak on the shower cable Room not completely soundproof as we can hear the outside a bit (as in most of the time in other accomodations anyway)

The room was a bit old I guess.. Need some renovations.. And one of the elevator was under renovation when we stayed there, so it was a bit confusing to get to my floor..

There were various menus for breakfast for a room that only cost you around 360k rupiah! It was unexpected. I thought they only provide traditional food there, but actually there were standard western food as well and the taste was pretty good in my opinion. They also have pool even though it's quite small. Close to souvenir shop. The staffs were friendly as well :)

- First when you enter the room it smells a bit damp - There is a long distance between the reception and the elevator to the rooms

- Location is close to Simpang Lima, you can walk - The price is cheap for a hotel in the city center - The food is delicious - The atmosphere is old school but quite comfortable - It's easy to find food around the hotel
