Australia17 Reviews13 helpful votesGoodThe hotel looked a bit tired and the pools in general didn't look too inviting. We didn't have time for a swim. As mentioned in other reviews - this place needs an update. It is affordable. We only stayed a night, as we headed to Nusa Lembongan another island.
Sanur is a great location, relaxed compared to other parts of the island. We landed very late at night on an international flight, arrived, and slept for 6 hours. The two rooms were adjoining was helpful, we were travelling as a family of 4 with two kids 9 and 11. However you have to go through the children's room to get to the bathroom, which was a bit annoying. We had cheese and ham croissants for breakfast and they were good - crispy. The staff were lovely.

Honestly it is old hotel compare to other and current civilization. However we like it so much as it is accessible to the beach, private accomodation, available lot of stores, restaurant. Very suitable for the big family.

The location, staff, and pools were open 24/7, clean towels and sheets every day. Close to many restaurants, and beach, beautiful grounds, and they are doing everything they can for the environment. Solar power and no plastic. Old school Balinese rooms were private plain and comfortable

Australia24 Reviews12 helpful votesVery GoodLots of mosquitoes around our room and the pool, so repellant is needed. Repetitive Balinese music in the lobby/pool area was a little loud. We had to move rooms because the A/C was rattling loudly in the first room.
We had a private bungalow, which was walled and had an outdoor area. Large bathroom, a comfy bed, and a two-seater lounge in the room. Two pools near us, and a third just behind the beachfront restaurant. There are loungers just in front of the restaurant but they are not on the sand.

It was clean, unpretentious, quiet away from the main road and a beautiful path lead to the beach. The cafe on the beach and the three pools were great for an eight year old. Generous amounts of coffee and tea compared well with other places on our trip.
