Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaOur bathroom sink was blocked. Staff fixed but it kept happening. Toilet easily blocked even when not putting toilet paper in toilet. We boiled water and poured down sink and filled bin with water and poured down toilet daily to prevent clogs. In Bali Draino and Plumbers Friend etc are not used because they don't use chemicals. A plunger is used instead. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
I liked the room, pool was nice, good breakfast. Staff were friendly.

BulgariaThe place is just old. Rooms are dark and a bit run down. Staff is noisy when preparing other rooms.
Great price for a very central but quiet location in Ubud. Huge green resort with a nice pool. Access to two different streets on both sides is a big plus.

The place is surrounded by the nature. It’s really beautiful! And the location is the best! Right in the center

GermanyThe villas are so far from main entrance. Even though it is more like traditional Balinese style accommodation there should be accessibility. For example roads are too slippery to walk in rain. Some slopes are too hard to climb .
Friendly behaviour. The villa pool was clean. Not so crowded area. Near to shopping and restaurants

MacauWe stayed there during the wet season and it rained (a lot). The floor is a bit slippery when it rains. Not much can be done on this matter.
We stayed in a very comfortable villa. The room was very nice with an open bathroom (if you are not nature friendly and having ocasional bugs is not your thing, maybe you should consider a closed bedroom). We had our private pool and that was a plus for the kids. The staff was extremely polite and genuinely nice. You can easily access Ubud centre. If you take the back road, specially by night, you can find some great restaurants like Chora or Café des Artistes.

AustraliaRackety hard to close room door. Poor mosquito control. The bathroom needed work, too. It's fairly basic, but then you get what you pay for; it's cheap.
Being right in the centre of Ubud yet quiet on the property. Green (pandan) banana pancakes for breakfast. Friendly staff. Great restaurant Watercress over the road and a great live music bar the Laughing Buddah.

AustraliaFriendly and helpful staff throughout my stay. The room was large and clean. Aircon worked brilliantly. The swimming pool was perfectly situated. Excellent location, in the middle of the main street, yet still peaceful. My second stay but not my last.

United Arab EmiratesThere is no buggy in the resort, there's alot of walking and not convenient for people with kids, elderly or people of determination. The furniture is old with lots of insects. No proper shampoo or soap in washroom Phone in room does not work. The breakfast buffet is very dirty, the utensils are all crusty and not cleaned properly. Since the buffet is outdoor they need to keep the food closed so there are no bugs, but everything is kept open and u see ants and bugs everywhere.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.

AustraliaWe stayed in the villas at back of probably lucky it had a back entrance . As there were many steps and pathways to get to our villa. Okay if your fit. My advise for elderly get a front room not villa.

AustraliaThe grounds need work, slippery mossy paths with massive hills to walk to accommodation (especially the pool villas). Resort needs a buggy to transport guests like they used to. Plunge pools in villas and main pool have broken tiles and heaps of bull ants so you can’t enjoy the sun beds + mossy slippery paths from Villa to pool. The staff are very non responsive in communication leading up to the stay and after booking 7 months out and requesting 3 twin rooms (2 beds in the room) they could only offer me 1 on arrival. I booked 7 rooms.
Location is great
