English could have been a bit better, we had to use Google Translate to Indonesian some times. Also, temperature isolation in the room could improve - warm during day, cold in the night (not extremely though, you're still in Bali). Skylight is a nice touch but ours was dirty from the outside and couldnt actually see anything through it.

We stayed for 2 nights in Pondanu during our stay in Bali, mainly because its close to the northern waterfalls. All in all we liked the place - comfy beds, roomy accommodation, setting on the lake, nice breakfast and readily available lunch and dinner if you want them. Its easily accessible for car transfers and not far from the waterfalls, botanical garden, lake temple etc. The view of the mountains is great too. Yellow cat is legendary :)

Bed was small and linen was stained. Lace curtains in the dining room were filthy and covered in mould. Doesn’t appear much has been cleaned in the restaurant and lakeside deck area in a long time

The smell in bathroom of the tent was a mixture of mold and scent to cover it up, we had to keep the door shut because it was very intense and you could see the mold on the tent fabric.

The location was great, the restaurant and also the area around it was done very pretty. The welcome snack was huge and extremely tasty. Staff was very friendly. 20 minute walk to the water temple, good to do, not a pretty walk as you have to follow the main road.

Outstanding location by the lake. The rooms were spacious particularly the bathroom. Staff were superb always willing to help. Their restaurant is a little expensive but the food was very good. They have standard American or Indonesian breakfast. The breakfast helpings are more than enough for one person. All rooms have a balcony. Sitting out is nice. They have activities to do. The Ulun Danu Beratan is a 5 mins drive from this place, a 15 mins walk. There is a cafe right opposite to the hotel where there are cheaper but equally good food options.

The view from the hotel is amazing. Unique statue, beautiful lake, fresh air. Just perfect! This is the 3rd time I stayed at this accomodation. Room is spacious and clean. Equipped with electric blanket. The owner and staffs are amazing ! They even set nice breakfast in front of our tent rooms. We rent the electric car from the accomodation and took a ride around the area. We also rode the boat provided by the accomodation. Really fun ! Highly recommended. Definitely will go back !

No air- con in the cabins and it got very warm and stuffy in the evening. As it’s literally on water you cannot keep the windows open. It cooled down in the early hours but the offered heating pads were not needed😅. Only sheets ontop of the bare mattress is not hygienic, also small ants in the bed and elsewhere… restaurant has a bit of a smell issue.. maybe from the river! Also could’t get to the temple by lake as neither one of their boats worked…

Beautiful narrow gardens that extend into the lake. Lots of flowers and art! Wonderful breakfast. Sky window in the cabin!

I had an amazing stay here. The location was by Beratan lake, it was so quiet and peaceful. The food was good. It's really a wonderful place to relax and being close to nature.

The reception didn't inform us that kayaking ends at 5pm. Had we known, we would have used it on both days. Anyway, we used it the next day morning. They start it at 8am, but ideally it should be allowed to use from 6am itself as the lake is calmer early morning and can enjoy the sunrise experience.

Very nice location and ambience with plenty of photography opportunities. The rooms were well appointed and spacious. The remote controlled skylight was great. Breakfast was good, sufficient quantity.

Nice peaceful location. Very good atmosphere around the cabins on the raised walkways. Some very cool old scooters around the place as decoration. Electric blankets on the beds made the cold nights a lot more comfortable, especially for my Indonesian girlfriend who is not used to it! The wood panelling on the walls gave the cabin a bit of a Scandinavian feel to it

Cabins 2 & 3 and cabins 4 & 5 are abounded by a door and may be more suited to groups or family’s.

Beautiful location on the lake and a close scooter ride to shops and major tourist sites. we absolutely loved our stay in Bedugul and would recommend the visit! The staff were very friendly and we were able to rent a high quality scooter from the front desk. The staff were more than happy to move us into another cabin, when a loud group moved into the adjoining cabin.
