Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThere are lots of ants and the efforts to keep them under control in the rooms were inconsistent. Some of the linen was stained, so some more attention to cleanliness would be good. Our rooms were tidied every second day. The kitchenette had basic cutlery, but this varied and there was little care given to the number of people staying in the room (eg. 2 forks for 4 people). The path to the property is partly paved, but majority of it is broken and muddy, making bringing luggage in difficult. There is a sign near the road, but not more directions once you get inside. We met an angry dog by going down the wrong path - easily avoided with some signs. The distance from town and key sites was quite far and we needed to regularly get transport, which was an additional cost. It was fine for the price we paid, but a little bit of love would go a long way.
There was a female staff member who was lovely and made delicious breakfasts. The fact that breakfast was included was welcome. The rooms were generally spacious, but our friends in a different room said the layout wasn't as helpful. The pool and gardens were well kept.

IndonesiaWe have an animal inside the roof of one of the rooms It was very noisy and it was not possible to rest. On the bedside table was a bunch of hair from an old guest like if they cleaned their hair brush. Before the guest arrives they should have a look at the room and check that everything is fine. There were a couple of snails and hips of ants in the showers. The rooms needed some maintenance, the curtain on one of the rooms was falling.
The staff was friendly and the garden and the outside area was nice. Beds were comfortable and the size of the room was also good. There is a small local store close by which is very handy.

United KingdomSee above.
Nothing about the property is worth the cost. The entrance path to the property was rough and not safe for walking on . The property was mouldy and dirty walls added to the dingy outlook . Toilet pot was broken . The facilities was unliveable by Western standards.

New ZealandThe place was filthy. We had booked 5 nights and left after the first night, and did not get our money back. Bali had exceptional places to stay at for much cheaper, and this was not one of them. We even found a tampon under the bed. The fridge (comes with kitchen) was terrible, bedding was dirty, even the lovely pool in the pic had sludge around it. When I showed them the bedding, the guy said they had no more. There were 7 of us and we needed to find urgent accommodation for the next morning. I even found a used tissue when opening the bedding! Really, if you want your family trip to be lovely, DO NOT STAY HERE. If you are a solo traveller, DO NOT STAY HERE (it is far from everything), if you are with a partner, DO NOT STAY HERE, the photos are not a true representation of the expensive place you are paying for. We spent many wifi opportunities making contact to get the funds returned, which they were not. It was a big waste of money and a dampen on our trip. Filth. While we were there, there was another couple who left at sunrise, who also cancelled their stay.
Nothing at all. This place was really dirty (even found a tampon under the bed), dirty sheets and no clean ones to replace.

AustraliaLet's start by the location of the place, in the middle of nowhere, not even a concrete paver path. It rained before our arrival, and we had to get to the place through a real narrow muddy/gravel path surrounded by bushes. So much so that we could feel the spider webs on her face while walking in. We had booked 2 rooms with a kitchenette, breakfast included. The room was average looking and the washrooms appalling. The ceiling in one of the bathrooms was leaking on top of the sink, couldn't even wash hands without getting leaky water drops on your head. And the toilet flush wasn't working either. 😕 one may say, out of 2 bathrooms, one was useless except for shower. In the other bathroom, it was either hot water or cold water- no mix temperature. Luckily, we had 2 rooms, so we shared and survived. We used one for the shower and the other for the toilet. It's worth to mention that there is no ventilation in the bathrooms either. Air con was functional with just on/off switch only, nothing else worked on the remotes. Kitchenette area was so disgusting. it seemed like no1 has cleaned it in months. We couldn't stand the sight of it. For breakfast, we had to wait for more than 1 hour for just an omelette and pancakes. When it arrived, the omelette was too salty, and the tiny bread slice were burnt. Pancakes were still raw, and the coffee was disappointing, too, with all the coffee powders floating on hot water as it is. Moving on to the cleanliness, we gave some clothes to wash and got them back the next day. There were still stain marks on the shirt, and the socks and underwear were still dirty. NO HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE AT ALL. Not even towel replacement. There were spider webs, lizards, ants and tons of mosquitoes everywhere. I understand it was close to fields, so is pretty much all the villas in ubud. The least they could have done was spray some mosquitoe replent and keep the space clean and tidy aka maintain it.
Nothing

You o communicate in few works of english. * staff drinks and play card at reception with his friend on weekends * poor quality of bads I know you get what you paid for but for this one if they give me money I ll not stay in it. A place should maintain some minimum standards. Unfortunately I have to say if you wana have a good holiday please don't go here.

NetherlandsThe TV didn't work, we did not use it during our stay and the pool was dirty, but our child did not care. The variety of breakfasts shown on the pictures, is not offered. It's either banana pancakes or toast with an egg of your prepared liking.
The villa had two very spacious rooms, a wonderful garden, and is to be found in an environment surrounded by nature. The staff is extremely friendly and seems to be involved with their customers. We would love to come back here some day!
