My stay at Poshtel Ubud was great and because it was beyond my expectations (value, location, welcoming staff, clean, comfortable, great breakfast), I ended up extending my stay for one more night! The staff is so nice and attentive. I arrived sick with the unfortunate case of Bali Belly and they made me feel safe and taken care of. The location was also amazing, in the center of Ubud and therefore walking distance to a lot of sightseeings like the Money Forest, the temples, museum, small hikes taking you to the quieter side of the city and its rice fields, to the Art Market and of course with access to all of the shopping and restaurant scene Ubud has to offer!

The shower did not work during my stay, nor the ac was working properly. I told the staff, they said they will fix it

The aircon is really strong and therefore the dorms are pretty cold. If there would be a proper blanket, this would be perfect, but since there is only a thin blanket, I was mostly too cold at night. I stayed in two different dorms, the first one had a window that could be opened, but the second one only the door, so there was not a lot of fresh air. Also the bathroom within the second dorm had a milky-glass door which could not be locked. It was a female dorm, but it still felt weird.

Nice hostel with a really great rooftop terrace. I stayed longer than expected and stayed again a couple of days later. There is free drinking water and a really good breakfast each morning (you get something different every day). The location is right at the market street and most of the sights are within walking distance.

Like in comments of others: the bathroom "Parfum" is really too strong and smelly and you have a shower and and toilet in each bedroom. As they are mixed dorms you should be aware that there isn't privacy when you step into or out of the shower. If that's okay for you: stay at Poshtel. There no scooter parking but a big public parking space close by.

Staff very nice, place is super clean, room cleaning happening every day, very good breakfast included in the price, comfy bed, bed curtains for some privacy, central location but not noisy, beautiful rooftop. You can fill up your water bottle for free and avoid too much plastic trash. I would really recommend it.

Great location, the staff are super helpful with organizing tours, taxi etc. The complementary breakfast was very good every morning. The beds are comfortable and it's clean. The pictures do not do this place justice.

The shower rooms were getting moldy with not enough capacity to exhaust the moisture. I know this is a challenge in such a high humid environment.

Location was great and opened up a whole new vista of the Ubud experience. The morning breakfast was delicious. The roof was spectacular. Beds were comfortable, and the rooms were quiet.

This place is super! Comfortable mattress & they clean the room every day. I was planning to stay here for only one night and then I extended two nights more. They offer healthy breakfast & every day was in different menu. The hostel is located in the central of Ubud, close to the Main Street but it’s in a quiet area. Super nice so I can rest well. I’d love to stay here again! 💗

Staff was friendly and they always cleaned the room. It was near all the shops and restaurants, everything is walkable. Near the Town temple and Art market.

They don’t use any plastic or bags for the rubbish bins in the dorm, so while they do throw out the trash daily, the rubbish bins weren’t washed or cleaned properly, hence there’s a smell, stains, even some remnants left in the bins, which can look a bit disgusting.. Not a fan of the sink area, it was too high for me :( (I’m 5”4 ft/164cm)

The hostel is just a few minute walk away from the huge Art Market and Ubud palace, making it super easy to shop and get food too, it’s in an alley but very close to the main road so I didnt feel scared having to walk through at night! There’s daily housekeeping so fortunately toilets are relatively clean! Tho it was a mixed dorm but I think they tried to arrange only females in my dorm which I appreciated.
