The whole experience of staying at Pramana Giri Kusuma was wonderfull. The scenery of the location is beautifull. They are located in the middle of the jungle near Ubud, close to a river. When sitting on the balcony of the room you can hear the river flow. A real peaceful place. The room is very spacious and has everything you need. The staff at Pramana Giri Kusuma is so helpfull, the best we have experienced on Bali. The food at the restaurant is excellent. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back!

This hotel is great but because it's inside the jungle you will find a lot of insects. The Staff are trying there best but you will need to be ready for it.

Very peaceful, totally hidden gem, surrounded by the beautiful jungle. The restaurant is so nice, and it costs almost nothing. Great cocktails as well! If you are looking for a few cleansing, relaxing Spa-days in Bali; this is the place to be! They offer all the massages you need and the whole surrounding is magical and zen.

Very stylish accommodation in riverside forest, makes for a relaxing stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, who arranged airport pickup and transport whenever we needed it and a tour to north Bali. Good food at the restaurant and a great place to enjoy the spa and relaxing massage away from busy Ubud, in a nice quiet village. Free afternoon tea is a pleasant bonus with lovely coconut cake treats.

Lots of bugs, but you get that in the jungle

The room was stunning and the whole hotel was so quiet and peaceful. You walk in and instantly feel relaxed. The staff were all incredible and the pool is idyllic. The foooood is what had me loving this place - you have no reason to even leave because the restaurant food is so good!

Price of food and no included breakfast.

The grounds are incredibly beautiful and why I booked a night. I would book again for this reason. It’s quite far from Ubud so I wouldn’t stay here with the intention of coming and going into Ubud a lot. The two bed pool villa was lovely and would have been incredible if it wasn’t pouring. We ordered room service and had to eat off the floor as there’s nowhere to eat it. I was a bit shocked that breakfast wasn’t included, given the cost of accommodation and every other place I’ve stayed in Bali has included breakfast. Nonetheless the grounds are stunning and it’s worth staying here for that.

The bamboo fence of the open bathroom creates an amazing ambience but I felt that it didn't provide enough privacy from the corners looking above and between the gaps of the fence. Perhaps add more coconut weaved leaves(?)

A serene location for those type of relaxing getaway from the smog and hustle of the city. If the sound of a flowing river, birds chirping, and crickets makes you feel at peace then this is the place. The staff were amazing and very dedicated to tending your comfort.

Food was not that good. The evening snack items were amazing but the other main foods were not that great. You have very less options to go out and have food as its far from the city so you only got Restaurant menu. Scooty hire is very expensive compared to other resorts that we stayed in Ubud. Its almost double the price.

Location is bit far from Ubud. But its very good for relaxing. We booked a jungle view room. The view was amazing. It was very peaceful. The river walk is too good. Most of the staffs were very good to us. especially the boys who used to come and arrange our room.

Little miners, competition is tough in Bali so we do want to mention them. The airconditioning in our room did not work properly. Only on or off, lower/ higher temp did not work so it was 16 C of nothing. Also the fan did not work properly, only high speed or off. We had to ask for the cushions for the pool beds ourselves after being on the sun beds for 2 hours. Would be appreciated if the staff offered it in the first place or to have put them all out once the pool hours started, so it’s inviting to ‘relax by the pool’. More drinking water in the rooms. Complementary coffee and tea in the room were instant, cheaper brands. We thought prices were a bit high (laundry, taxi service) We don’t like it if a accommodation or restaurant already charge 10% service fee. We strongly recommend to stop doing this and let people decide for themselves how much they want to pay for service (for us, bad service = max 5%, good service is 10/15 %).
