Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesInfluencers taking videos, as it the place was there's alone. And speaking loudly as a group at meals without consideration of others who come to this location for quiet and retreat.
A stunning location with wonderful staff. Food was excellent with organic and vegetarian focus. I'd love to return.

SwitzerlandIt is a unique place out in the rice fields. The houses are rebuilt in an old local style. It's comfortable and special, therefore. Located in the middle of the rice fields there's a nice ambiance. The food of the restaurant is nice and the staff very friendly. It was already my second time there and I would come again if I have the chance to.

FranceNot much to complain about. Maybe location is a bit random. 20min drive to jatiluwih rice terraces and nothing nearby (no restaurants etc…). Also no AC in the room and lots of nature sounds at night haha but that’s part of the experience
Beautiful and peaceful hotel ! The garden is stunning. Room is spacious and comfortable. Such great value for money

FranceThe villa was not well lit to read at night. The mosquitoes force you to be indoors from just before sunset. The furniture was not comfortable. There were insect/animal droppings on the mosquito net and all the furniture. I woke up with bug bites on my leg on day 2, which made day 3 and 4 a nightmare. The food was far from interesting with barely 4 Indonesian dishes. The stroganoff was NOT a stroganoff by any measure.
The beauty of being in what felt like a jungle. The atmosphere, walking through old rice fields to get to our villa. Kind staff. Good breakfast. Library of books. Beautiful property in a quiet village. Swimming pool.

ItalyWhen the sun goes down it starts to be very chill, so if you don’t have adequate clothing it could be really cold both outside and inside the room. Unfortunately our shower, which is an open air one, didn’t work properly and there wasn’t hot water therefore we weren’t able to have a shower since it was very cold. We also had a massage at 7 pm but it was very cold, the property don’t have an internal space for massage (unless you ask to do it in your room) therefore we didn’t really enjoyed it. The restaurant serves good food but the service is very slow and they don’t really care about it. So you need to be patient and wait even if you are starving.
The property is surrounded by an amazing forest, the nature is incredible and the location is far from the traffic you can find in other touristic places in Bali. The room was peculiar, it oversaw the forest, the night you can see fireflies and listen to crickets while watching a spectacular sky full of star. The property is very close to the UNESCO rice terraces which you can easily reach by motorbike (recommended) through an amazing ride. They organized very well all the transportation means.

Friendly staff. Nice restaurant with a lot of items on the menu. We have two children that need to eat gluten-free and they were willing to prepare gluten-free food. They specially ordered gluten-free bread. Nice natural swimming pool. Beautiful gardens.

AustraliaThis resort is so so beautiful. The gardens are next level. It really is a wonderland. You'll need a scooter or driver to get around as nothing close by but we had Kadek (a local village driver and tour guide) which made it even more perfect. Highly recommend staying here

United KingdomWe were disappointed that at a reasonably high price in indonesian terms there were no little niceties in the bedroom (only liquid soap - no other toiletries, tissues etc.) and no tea and coffee making facilities. On our first night they didn't have one of the starters we requested and didn't have any wine at all despite it being on the menu. There is only WiFi in the reception/dining area so if you' need the internet you have to stay there.
The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the mountain water swimming pool is cold but glorious and huge. The reception/dining area was a pleasant space. If you just want to chill, this is an extremely relaxing spot. Our semi-detached bungalow bedroom was a good size but the soundproofing was poor so if going again we would book a detached (but even more expensive!) bungalow.

AustraliaThe photos here don't do the place justice, the restaurant and gardens were a tranquil paradise for ours stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, we couldn't have asked for more. We dipped every day in the pool and was surprised that no one else on this site recommended doing the same. Don't want to tell too many people about this place, because we want to go back soon.

We loved the setting and the staff and the swimmingpool and everything so beautiful. We enjoyed the food and flexibility. We also did a brilliant hike to the second largest temple with a very knowledgable and lovely guide.
