The most peaceful, clean and comfortable homestay. I’ve stayed at Pratama House twice now and would definitely return if I am in Ubud again. You walk up a road opposite Ubud Palace, leaving the hustle and bustle behind. You’ll find Pratama House in a small side street, a place that is quiet and peaceful. The homestay is located in the grounds of the families traditional Balinese home, complete with its own temple for a more authentic Bali experience. The family who run Pratama House are delightful. They are so helpful and caring, always checking in on you to see how you are. The rooms available are the cleanest I’ve stayed at in the whole of Bali. The linen is crisp white, the floors are spotless and the bathroom sparkles! The space in the rooms is huge! Lots of places to put away your luggage, even a dressing table. The beds are incredibly comfortable and spacious, very relaxing. The bathrooms come with soap and shampoo and the showers are very powerful with lots of temperature options. You also get a balcony space with tea, coffee and water, somewhere to sit and relax. I’ve stayed at Pratama House twice now. When I returned, the lovely family greeted me with cakes and even upgraded my room. They thanked me but I thank them for making me feel so valued and cared for. If you are after somewhere clean, calm and safe then Pratama House is perfect. As a solo female traveler it was lovely to know that I’d come home to somewhere I could feel so comfortable at.

The hosts are absolutely lovely, they make you feel so welcome and help with tours such as mount batur and bike rental. The room is spacious and really clean, it has everything you need and is just nice to be in. Has lamps which seem simple but make it feel so comfortable in the evening. There’s also tea and coffee on your balcony, and free water refill available. The bathroom is big, and has hot water. The location is also good, a short walk from central Ubud.

The way to their house. It is a narrow way but the house is in the center of ubud very near to the ubud palace. This is one of the best location in ubud to get a stay only the way to their house is narrow but that does not make much difference

Just up the street from the busy main area with lots of shops and restaurants but serenely quiet. Walking distance to Monkey Forrest and close to Palace.

Our hosts were so kind, laid back and friendly. We had a few good chats! They will help with anything and give advice if you ask, or leave you to relax in peace :) We really enjoyed the peace and quiet at the homestay, whether relaxing on the terrace or working in the room when we needed to. Wifi is very good. The room is big and very clean with a comfortable bed and enough furniture to store everything. The temperature is cool during the day and at night, and there are vents in the top of the wall to keep the room fresh and cool, along with the ceiling fan. We found this more than adequate to have a comfortable temperature without the need for air con. Our room was cleaned every day, and fresh hot water was provided every morning on the terrace, along with free coffee, tea, and sugar. When we needed extra cutlery or plates our hosts happily provided everything. There is a large fridge outside next to the water cooler that everyone can use. The water cooler provides fresh drinking water, either cold, hot, or room temp. The location is great, as the home itself is up a quiet street but right in the centre of Ubud. Just a 5 min walk and you're in the busy tourist street with all the restaurants and shopping you could want. There are also good warungs along the little side street as you walk to or from the homestay. Motorbike rental is close by, but we only used a bike for a couple days to get out of Ubud as we were able to walk everywhere else in the town. Overall a great place to stay with kind hosts in a great location. Highly recommended and would stay again :)

Perfect stay in Ubud. The room is great, spacious, clean, no mold, lasting hot water and it is taken care of everyday. Gusti and Ayu are amazing and are always available for anything the guests might need. It’s away from the road so there’s no noise, just nature. There is a common fridge and very nice warungs near. I highly recommend staying here!

Amazing value for money. Tucked away in a beautiful setting, but close to the main restaurants etc in Ubud. Our room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and smelt lovely. Rooms were very spacious. Free tea and coffee provided on your balcony throughout the day. The balcony area was lovely and it was great having our morning coffee admiring the beautiful setting. No air con wasn’t an issue as the fan was very strong and the room was naturally cool. Highly recommend!

This place is so lovely! It’s tucked away in a nice and quiet street, but still close enough to the centre. The room itself is perfect, bed is comfortable, and it’s super clean. The owners are so nice, they made the bed and cleaned the room every day and always made sure there was coffee/tea/hot water and clean cups on the table. value for money is truly amazing!
