whole experience was amazing. the staff were the most lovely i think ive ever come across in a hotel. the room was so clean, food was great. we stayed here for nyepi (silent day) and the staff were brilliant and the atmosphere was lovely, they even put on an activity for us to help make the blessings. would reccomend this place to anyone, 10/10 overall

We came to Ubud from the West seeking a calm and restful beginning to our journey, especially with the time zone adjustment. We stayed for nine nights, and this beautiful property gave us exactly the environment we needed to unwind. Location-wise, it’s just a 5-minute motorcycle ride from the iconic Ubud Water Palace—close enough to the heart of Ubud while still offering a peaceful retreat. The property itself is absolutely stunning. If you're coming from the West, do yourself a favor and book this place—it’s truly worth it. The rooms are impeccable, with thoughtful attention to detail that makes them incredibly welcoming for long stays. Cleanliness was flawless—definitely a 5 out of 5. The service and staff? Also 5 out of 5. The ambient lighting in the room created a very cozy and calming vibe—again, a solid 5 out of 5. A couple of areas for gentle improvement: the bathroom lighting, especially around the mirror, could be a bit brighter. And while the food quality was good, the variety felt a bit limited—especially as vegetarians staying for over a week. After a few days, the menu started to feel repetitive, so we found ourselves sticking mostly to the fresh fruits in the mornings. That said, the staff really made the experience special. On several nights, we ordered food from outside, and they warmly offered to reheat it, serve it on proper plates, and bring it right to our room—such a thoughtful gesture. The pool area is another highlight—relaxing by the waterfall was one of our favorite pastimes. Even when we were resting indoors due to jet lag and requested late room cleaning, the staff accommodated us with genuine hospitality. On a rainy day, we found umbrellas already placed outside our room—another small but meaningful touch that showed how well the team anticipates guests' needs. In short, while there’s a bit of room to improve with the bathroom lighting and menu variety, our stay was filled with warmth, beauty, and restful moments.

As a solo traveller, I personally would have loved to be around a few more people while still having my own space, but the peaceful vibe definitely has its charm. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and I felt really well looked after. I’d definitely stay again!

Breakfast fruit bowls and other choices were good. We ate in for breakfast about half our stay. We had dinner few times mainly out. Very comfortable bed. Staff young very helpful and attentive at short notice. Nice outlook to the pool Would stay here again.

Our stay at Puri Andong Villa in Bali was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the warmest hospitality by the incredibly kind and attentive staff. Their genuine care and impeccable service made us feel at home instantly. The villa itself is a hidden gem, offering a peaceful and serene environment that’s perfect for relaxation. It’s incredibly quiet—just the sounds of nature around you. It was exactly what we needed to unwind and recharge. Breakfast was another highlight! Every morning, we were treated to a delicious and fresh meal, thoughtfully prepared and served with a smile. It was the perfect way to start the day.

The location was just slightly away from Ubud Main Street which is perfect as it’s more quiet and less hectic, but close enough where you can get there within 5 mins or car or a brisk 30 minute walk. This is nothing to do with the hotel but please be aware the some of the money changers in the main road in front of the hotel are really scam. Just avoid going to places that have the best rate change because they will try to scam you. We had a really bad experience but thankfully the hotel helped us to get our money back.

Fantastic hotel near Ubud city centre. We had an amazing time Puri Andong Villa, the staff was really kind, professional and thoughtful all the time. We really enjoyed our time and we recommend this hotel if you want to stay in Ubud. Facilities are high quality: room, restaurant and pool!

I enjoyed my stay from the first minute to the last one! We came 3 hours before check-in time and they did let us go to our room with no extra charges! They offered welcome refreshment drinks and delivered our heavy luggage to the room. I was supprised by the inner garden of the hotel. I could jump into the pool right from my room. In the room, I found all necessary appliances including socket adaptors and mosquito repellent. All breakfasts I tried ware excellent! Exceptionally I want to thank my host Ms Septia for her attention and services!

Not a problem just for awareness for older travelers - .No elevator so if an issue, request a ground floor room.

Lovely, welcoming, thoughtful staff made the stay here delightful. Rooms are clean, comfortable, well stocked. Grounds are beautiful, well kept. Restaurant/Bar provides a great place to hang out as well as enjoy the menu. Location provides easy access to downtown Ubud.
