The location was perfect and the staff was superb. The only bad thing was that the room always smelled very damp, which prevented us from getting a good night's sleep. We told the staff, but they didn't do anything about it. I hope they improve this for future guests.

Everything about the property is great! The garden is so beautiful and there’s a lot of wildlife! The old style is so special and something everybody really loves! Please do not change the old style! The massage people are amazing. Desak is so kind. All the staff are great! There’s cute dogs that love there and are very well cared for. There’s also a very special kitty there on his own volition who loves a pat or a lap and a cuddle! Oh and definitely loves a snack, save him some chicken and he’s your new best friend. The food at the restaurant is yummy and the prices are kept very affordable for everyone which is nice. It’s steps from the beach which is busy but still worth the beautiful sunset. There’s a gelato shop also steps away which is so yummy! We hope to come back to Puri Cendana very soon! We love everything there!

Needs a little refresh but with the price you pay it’s to be expected.

It original Bali. Not new and not perfect. But if you want a taste of old school Bali and the amazing Balinese spirit. This is the place.

Not much really!

Beautiful setting with amazing pool and surrounds. A 5 minute walk to the beach which was awesome and also quick walk into shops and restaurants. The staff are amazing…gorgeous kind people who go out of there way to serve you and make your stay there fantastic. Would definitely stay there again!

I love the breakfast, the food in general, it’s so close from the beach, you can watch every sunset if you want, the staff is very sweet and caring and will remember your name, and they offer the best massage in the world literally, Desak is the reason why I came back, and will come back. The location close to the road. It’s not entirely peaceful laying around the pool when you can hear the traffic going past. The pool also needs a paint job / re sealing. I also could not understand why the kitchen staff would not cook bananas inside the pancake mix, preferring to slice them up on top of a cooked pancake. It didn’t appear to be any more work to me. The location is also close to the epicentre of the NYE fireworks display, on the beach, which went from 6pm - 4am & sounded like we were in a war zone.

I loved the feel of Bali. Puri Cendana is an authentic Balinese style of accommodation. Not big & fancy, but clean & comfortable. The room was huge & loved the windows all around the bath room. The room decor was very Balinese & the gardens were lovely. Staff always warm & welcoming.

It's a unique design with lots of bamboo which is not for everyone.

The location was great. Just a 2 minute walk to Seminyak Beach, and lots of restaurants and cafes within a 5 minute walk as well.
