Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RussiaNot always good roads on the way from Ubud to the hotel
We recently stayed at Puri Sebali Resort in Ubud and were absolutely enchanted by the experience. Tucked away from the crowds and chaos, this place is a true sanctuary—perfect for those seeking tranquility, nature, and authentic Balinese beauty. What stood out immediately was the incredible location. The resort is nestled right by the famous Campuhan Ridge Walk, yet completely removed from the noise of traffic and motorbikes. All you hear is the breeze and birdsong. But the true highlight? The jaw-dropping rice terrace views. These aren’t your average rice paddies—they rise in dramatic, cascading layers that seem to stretch forever. You can admire them from the lobby, the pool, the restaurant, and most memorably—from the rooms themselves. We stayed in two terrace-view rooms, and honestly, we couldn’t take our eyes off the landscape. Morning coffee on the balcony felt like a scene from a movie. The rooms were a perfect balance of comfort and style. We loved the beautiful wooden furniture, handcrafted and full of character, along with the thoughtful design details throughout. Everything you could need was there—comfy bed, ample storage, and both a bathtub and a shower. The bathroom deserves a special mention: it had a huge panoramic window overlooking the rice fields, turning every bath into a spa-like experience. The staff at Puri Sebali truly made our stay special. Whether it was the front desk, the café team, or room service, everyone was kind, respectful, and eager to help. You feel genuinely cared for here—nothing is too much trouble, and every interaction is warm and personal. Delicious Breakfasts & a Surprisingly Bug-Free Stay The breakfasts were another pleasant surprise—fresh, flavorful, and served with a view. We especially appreciated the variety and quality. And despite being so close to nature, we were amazed by how few insects there were! The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, which made the stay even more relaxing.

DenmarkAmazing Stay at Puri Sebali Resort – A True Gem in Ubud! We had the most wonderful experience at Puri Sebali Resort, where we spent 7 nights in Ubud. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by incredibly friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. The resort is surrounded by breathtaking nature with stunning views of the rice fields – a perfect combination of tranquility and luxury. The spa area was a true oasis of relaxation, where we enjoyed professional treatments in the most serene setting. The restaurant also deserves high praise – the food was excellent, and the staff were always smiling and attentive. Every detail was well thought out, making our dining experiences delightful every day. All in all, a 5-star stay that we highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway in Ubud. We will definitely be back!

Even if the access to the hotel by taxi is not easy, but it is really worth it as the hotel is in the middle of the jungle and the rooms are bigs and very comfy, the restaurant are excellent with many options with more than 5 stars services.

NetherlandsOther guests with floating breakfast at the shared pool. We believe this service should only be offered in the private pool villas as it impacts the experience of everyone who'd like to enjoy an early swim.
Amazing value for money in one of Ubud's most beautiful surroundings. The hospitality by the staff was wonderful throughout our stay; they truly made us feel welcome. The complimentary afternoon tea was just the kind of detail that make a property stand out. We especially enjoyed our spacious room with breathtaking rice terrace views, a comfortable king bed, and incredibly clean facilities.

The location of the property is in verdant green areas with exquisite landscaping within the hotel grounds. The room with the private pool was really nice. Breakfast had just the right amount of options for a short stay. The shuttle service to the Ubud Central Market is very helpful.

NetherlandsI have no complaints! You get exactly what you pay for. Just note that it’s located outside Ubud, and transfers or taxis take 30–40 minutes depending on traffic. We chose this on purpose, and it was perfect for us.
An AMAZING hotel with stunning views of the rice fields (if you get the right room or suite). The breakfast had a wide variety of choices. We stayed in a suite with a private pool—an incredible experience! It felt like over-the-top luxury without paying a fortune; the value for money is excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The spa was also incredible—highly relaxing and worth it!
