We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesWe loved the villa such a wonderful and peaceful getaway but close to city center too. The staff was so kind and hospitable. Food was beautiful and so tasty. And the scooter rides - what a thrill! Overall we loved it and would 100% visit again

EstoniaThe only small negative is the fact that the hotel is approachable only by foot or by scooter. The closest you can get with a car is approximagely 1 km away. But don't worry - the hotel will transport your luggage for you. The walk to the hotel is lovely though, with lots of cute little cafes, dining places, shops and workshops along the way.
The place was beautiful, clean and private. The staff was lovely and breakfast was delicious. Loved the proximity of the picturesque little rice terrasses.

CanadaCouldn't beat the location. The unique location can accommodate scooters and because there are no cars within the rice field vicinity, feels very authentic and relaxed. I preferred the rice field walk beside the villa compared to the Campuhan ridge walk. The owner and staff are very helpful and friendly.

United KingdomNothing at all for us but be aware that the property is not accessible by car and they will pick you up from the drop off point by scooter. We hired a scooter for our time here too so no problem
We had a great stay here in an upstairs suite. Super clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the rice paddy fields . Breakfast on our balcony each morning was so nice!! The staff are super nice and helpful.

United KingdomStaying at Raditya was amazing. There is a lot of choice for accommodation in Ubud, but it's hard to see how anything can top Raditya. Tucked away on a quiet street with no car access, it provides peace and quiet with amazing views, all just a 15 minute walk or short scooter ride from Ubud's high street. Not only that, there are lots of nice cafes near it, the staff were very helpful and friendly too and the breakfast was good - especially whilst overlooking the rice field.

SpainThe first morning after arriving we sat down to have breakfast and, just as our food was being served on our table, one of the staff asked us for the payment. That felt very strange as we booked the place for 4 nights so surely we were not going to run away without paying and I don't know why it had to be before we eat. The breakfast was not as amazing as in other places where we have stayed in Bali. Also, the only way to arrive to the place is with a scooter so it's kind of tricky if you travel with lots of luggage. The owner had an accident when driving my husband on the scooter (he fell with his backpack full of electronics in the water) and the next day they didn't even check if he's ok or if anything got damaged. That was also kind of strange. In overall it's a beautiful place but it's lacking some love and attention to detail.
The hotel is situated between beautiful green rice fields. It's more than 15 min walk to the main road but it's not a problem if you rent a scooter. I loved how spacious our room was (we had the ground floor room with pool view). The breakfast was served every morning on our terrace in front of the pool.

Very peaceful, beautiful accommodation… lovely staff and very nice breakfast that was included with booking. Amazing value for money and staff was so lovely. It’s quite secluded, less than 10 minute walk to the main road otherwise staff offer a motorbike ride down but didn’t find this much of an issue, wish we stayed longer

United KingdomThere’s nothing I didn’t like. The only thing to be conscious of: I’m not sure if it’s the same for all rooms, but my bathroom was actually outside. It’s surprising, but very pretty/instagramable. Don’t worry, you still have privacy!
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the staff is so nice and so helpful! I have health problems that make it difficult to sleep on hard mattresses, so I asked for more duvets to soften the mattress, and they were happy to help with that. The breakfast is really great! (And it’s served directly on your balcony, which is a really nice touch!

United KingdomThe only minor thing would be that the property is accessible via scooter only. Meaning you need to either walk or get a scooter to and from the main road. It's a short walk, but for luggage the resort will take them for you. Honestly this is a plus, as it means you're central in Ubud but far enough away from the noise. There are no cars there! Lovely.
Absolutely loved the location, the views, the service and the hosts. This is probably the best stay I've had all year. Incredible value for money.

GreeceCannot be helped but often smells of manure are wafting from the rice paddies. The breakfast options are limited and get a bit boring after the first two days.
Incredible views in the upstairs rooms, breakfast delivered to your balcony every morning, comfortable bed, very clean

United KingdomNo kettle in the room, but once I needed hot water - there was no issue of getting it, as I was always given then an insulated jug. Breakfast options could be slightly better - would be nice to have some better quality bread/nuts/more vegetables.
Absolutely amazing location - away from loud noises of central Ubud - about 10-15min walk from the main street. We've book a taxi from the airport with the hotel, so we didn't have issues with getting to the place. Staff was very friendly and always helpful.

SwitzerlandThe mattress was too hard. The room is not sound proof and you can hear music and people singing at night. The airconditioning was also making noise.
The villa is located in the middle of the rice paddies which is beautiful and quiet but be aware that no cars are allowed and you will need to either walk 15 min or get a scooter ride from the hotel to reach the main road. The hosts are very friendly and the room was nice and large.

New ZealandWhile the staff were friendly and the property way well-kept it was lacking the consistency, service and small extra touches that we saw in the other 3 properties we stayed in in Bali. Just little things but they were notable, like different rooms (same price) having slightly different furniture or having to ask for missing towels or glasses. There were 2 bottles of something unlabelled in the shower, a kettle but no tea/coffee sachets, and the blinds in the small window by the sink were really dirty and broken and really need replacing. The main thing we think they should actually improve is the breakfast. Though it is nice that they serve it on your balcony, this was the only place we stayed at which insisted we order the night before and tell them exactly what time we wanted it – with only 6 rooms I think they could handle doing this each morning – the food is not hot when it comes up anyway and though edible there was less choice and much lower quality than everywhere else we stayed. If it was possible I would suggest booking without breakfast and just walking to one of the many cafes and getting a much better (and cheap) breakfast there.
The location of the villa was perfect - along a motorbike-only path in the paddy fields so away from the traffic of the main road but only a 15 min walk back along a street with shops and cafes on. In the day we watched locals work the rice fields and the birds and chickens, and at night there are lovely sunsets and bats and noisy frogs and fireflies which we really enjoyed! The rooms are a little worn and the walls a bit grubby, but the photos on here are pretty accurate, albeit taken from good angles and in lovely lighting. Everything was kept clean and tidy and the essentials were all there - good air conditioning, desk, wardrobe, table and chairs plus comfy seating on the balcony, and the water pressure was good. We appreciated the full-size fridge in the room, with some 'mini-bar' drinks inside, and the huge comfy bed. We had an upstairs room which was definitely worth paying for as the views are really lovely up there and the room and balcony are very large, light and airy. There is a water bottle in the reception area for refilling your water (though the staff didn't actually tell us that so unfortunately, we wasted quite a lot of plastic bottles of water from the fridge before we realised a few days later). The staff were always about somewhere nearby and friendly enough. They arranged the taxi to and from Ubud and it was actually the owner who took us - good driver, nice car, I would just note that it is a little snug if you have 4 adults and one has to sit in the middle back seat for more than an hour.

Beautiful location away from the busyness of the Main Street but still very close, about a 15 minute walk. Rice fields everywhere. Amazing staff. Great pool, great breakfast. Great food close by. Spacious room with comfortable bean bags on the balcony for reading or resting

AustraliaBreakfast was just a bit simple but other than that everything else was wonderful! Access to the villa was just a bit inconvenient because you had to get via a scooter, but the staff were so accomodating in making sure that transition was a smooth as possible!
The villa itself was beautiful and in a quiet peaceful area yet relatively close to main part of Ubud, (15-20 min walk) amongst the rice fields. Facilities were great and hosts were always happy to help!
