Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainThe staff could benefit from better English skills to ease communication, and the massage treatments would be more comfortable with a dedicated space, as performing them in the room is not ideal for either the guests or the staff.
A modern and comfortable hotel, ideal for an overnight stay while transiting to Borneo. The facilities are clean and stylish, with modern, Western-inspired decor. The food is good, and the breakfast offers a wide selection.

FranceMaybe the breakfast could be more qualitative (jam etc.) which does not necessarily cost more 😉
Good surprise, clean and comfy rooms with hot water, good quality bed, in a quiet district of the city. Good breakfast with several choices. Great ration price/quality. Staff is nice and speak English

IndonesiaWalls are quite thin so you can hear other guests outside in the corridors especially if there are noisy kids. We stayed in room 806 and there was a problem with the smart TV - it automatically logged out on two occasions so we couldn't access Netflix or Vidio or any of the channels. (Staff members needed to be called to the room to fix it.) It also reset itself to the start screen quite often when we were in the middle of watching programs. The other minor issue was the shower. Its slide bar/valve was leaking so that affected the water pressure and made it weaker than desired.
It was our second time staying at REZ Hotel in two months and its convenient address in Semarang's city center was one of the main reasons we came back. Though it is close to Simpang Lima, the main street the hotel faces tends to be rather quiet. There are also some fantastic street food stalls and informal eateries nearby. The beds had super-fluffy pillows and the mattresses felt a little softer compared to the first time (which we liked). From the front desk to the concierge/parking attendants, the staff members delivered service with a genuine smile.

IndonesiaThe beds were a little too firm (it took a night to get used to them) and the standard guest room could have used an extra chair, as there is only seating for one. Otherwise we were very satisfied with the stay.
REZ Hotel is on the quietest main road leading out of Semarang's main square, Simpang Lima. Service was excellent and concierges helped with free valet parking as spaces are limited at street level. We were assigned a room on the 9th floor, where there was a lovely view of the cityscape and the volcanoes farther inland from the balcony. The large in-room TVs had Netflix and all sorts of international channels including BBC Earth, NHK World, DW, and the History Channel. Water pressure in the showers was good; shampoo and bath soap (in eco-friendly pump bottles) were regularly refilled.

Indonesiatheir breakfast system. we wasted our time waiting for breakfast. they asked what food we would like to order for breakfast a day prior. when it's time for breakfast, it took quite some time for the meal to come out. they have salad, bread, and coffee stations for us while waiting for the food. i ordered waffles, nasi goreng, and soto. when i finished nasi goreng and soto, the waffle has not come out yet, we needed to go and could not wait for longer. so we left. i asked the staff standing in front of the restaurant, they said it's to avoid food waste. the waffle that did not come out was a waste already. i hope they have changed their breakfast system. AND to be honest, the food the came out was not warm at all :)
the room was spotless, and comfortable, amenities were there, prime location, very decent pricing. the shower was spotless, room size was pretty big compared to other hotel with similar rate.

ThailandSuite minimalist but very bare without carpet or soft furnishings to dampen sound so room was noisy. No drawer space. Drinking water provided in open jug with no hygiene provisions. Limited menu and soft drinks out of stock for duration of stay. Room service failed to clear tray from corridor overnight. Staff tried hard but not well trained. Only two elevators and one out of service during morning rush hour.

Singaporedefinitely NOT a 4 stars hotel, breakfast with limited choices more like budget or business hotels, the tv channels require activation but can use only indonesian or malaysian phone number so me ended up watching only netflix and youtube using my own account, room service ordered successfully through tv system was not delivered after 30 minutes and was told system not working when I called the front desk 😅
new and clean hotel, but the room I checked into initially has a missing door latch that I need to change to another room for security purposes

IndonesiaMy room close to pantry and storage, so it's a bit noisy while staff preparing their cart in the morning.
Very close to Simpang lima. Which held car free day on weekends. So much food delicacy within car free day hours. The staff were helpful and friendly.
