This place is really something speciail, the garden and the house itself are super beautiful and invite to a very relaxing stay. The staff is amazing too, they make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. The rooms were so beautifully designed and the Pool was even bigger than it seemed on the pictures. Also it is a ten minute walk down to the beach, where we enjoyed dinner and nice drinks at sunset. Truly an outstanding stay.

There was a family staying that caused a lot of noise throughout the night until early morning.

This villa was amazing! the staff greeted you with a welcome drink, the room was phenomenal and everything so clean. we actually booked another night because we loved it that much. the pool area was really nice, we had the pool to ourselves majority of the day.

the property was perfect. I do need to mention that it wasn’t right by the sea as advertised on booking.com. it is about a 15 minute walk to the beach. this turned out not to be a bad thing. 1 they are very happy to drive you there 2. The villa itself with its pool and garden is a much more pleasant environment than the local beach.

a spacious ironwood building with beautiful furniture and fittings. with its own infinity pool above a well-tended garden surrounded by stunning landscape: rice paddy fields etc. The manager and all staff were very attentive and helpful, willing to provide free transport for our touring expeditions.

We booked this property with the option of paying at the property. However, over multiple communications (mainly via WhatsApp+ booking.com messages) the manager requested we made payment in FULL via an external link weeks before our stay. The full amount was also HIGHER than the agreed/advertised amount on booking.com to take into account a "platform surcharge". It felt very much like a scam! We refused multiple times and at the end managed to pay upon arrival. This was a poor start to the experience even before we arrived.

The service was amicable. The staff was always happy to help and very attentive. The property was clean and well maintained.

Listing inaccurate. This was not a suite as described, it was a hotel room with 2 not very big windows with an attached bathroom. The view from our room was not of rice fields, but of the owners mother's house and car park. Photo added. There are 4 rooms in this property, only one is illustrated on the listing. We had the smallest, darkest room, although still very comfortable and value for money. Fridge in room noisy. Breakfast of eggs and white toast monotonous.Pastries are cooked the night before from frozen, so a bit stale by the morning. Only one member of staff on duty at breakfast, so overstretched. Very limited evening food options. Advice would be to put price up a bit, and employ a second staff member at breakfast, revise listing and photos to reflect all allocated rooms and so avoid unrealistic expectations.

Not a criticism of the property per se, but wasn't the best place to stay for solo traveller which I was, which I should've investigated further. There isn't a great deal to do around the area if you don't have car or scooter. I think this would be a really nice place for a couple who wants to stay in a quiet area and you have a car to go off on adventures. The building is open and wooden and can be quiet echoey. There isn't a restaurant on site but they will order food in for you.

This is a beautiful looking property in an old grand style. The view overlooking the rice fields and to the water was lovely. The bedroom and bathroom were large and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Not too long a walk to the beach. The shuttle to Tanah Lot was useful. Breakfast provisions were very generous.

I prefer a villa with more privacy I.e. a place with a garden area and jacuzzi or swimming pool which is only for the couple or family and not a shared one.

The environment is very pleasant. The service provided by the staff is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The location is quite remote. Prepare to take taxis everywhere (top tip: use the Grab app, they don't have Uber in Bali). Also be aware that some places only accept local drivers, and the village where this property is located applies this rule (you will see signs), so you might have to ask the villa staff to arrange a driver for you. We found local drivers were more expensive than Grab. You can also use Grab to deliver food to the villa. There is nothing really accessible (food, or entertainment) within walking distance and the roads are not exactly walkable - there are no pedestrian sidewalks. We went to the local warung a couple of times, but felt quite uncomfortable walking the roads with constant traffic and scooters wizzing by at high speed. The beach, Yeh Gangga, was disappointing. Basically if you are looking for a remote stay, living (luxuriously) amongst the locals, then this is for you, but not suitable if you want to be in the heart of everything and enjoy a beach holiday.

Beautiful villa and grounds, there's a lovely pool and a nice spacious and well maintained garden. The room was large enough for us and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely helpful staff who do their best to help, despite some small difficulties with English, they have the very best intentions. The villa is set among farmland and we were woken up every morning by sounds of roosters singing their morning song, and farmers burning crops. It was charming, but not exactly what we expected.
