Mini bar was empty and even though we asked twice to fill it, it simply never happened.

We were located in the Deluxe apartment, the one in front of the pool. So, basically sun wakes you up and the girst thing you see is this infinity pool in front of you. Staff is great and very kind, everything was exceptionally clean and accessible. We gad a luck to catch yoga session on Wednesday morning which was amazing! Warm recommendations to everyone!

Decided to stay a second time at Rumah Kayu during our Bali trip to relax and enjoy the last weekend.. We really love this resort! The food was great just like before, breakfast amazing, spa fantastic and staff just fabulous.

Unfortunately, our rooms were the nearest to the reception, meaning that every morning we were waken up by different noises made by employees carrying stuff or by other tourists that didn't understand they should keep quiet while walking near other rooms. Also, we used the cleaning service that brought our clothes with the exact same spots, so it was a good waste of money.

The resort is much more beautiful than the online pictures. You are staying in a green oasis, with beautiful wooden houses dispersed throughout the area. The place is perfect for any type of travellers (friends, couples or families with kids) as the houses are pretty separate from one another, so privacy is key. We were 4 people in 2 houses, so it was very comfortable. The beds are enormous. The sink with mirror are in the main living area, while the toilet and the bath/shower are in 2 areas separated by a door. Our rooms had both walk-in shower and bath tub, but we only used the shower. Our favourite part of the resort was the restaurant and the food service, as you have the option to eat at the tables near the pool or have food brought to your own terrace, at the room.

Average rooms, basic. Bathroom gets flooded when you shower. Food and drinks are expensive here ( West-european prices) probably this resort is owned by a west European. Bed sheets were not changed. The bed was made during room cleaning but the sheets were not changed. Stains on the sheets

The staff at RUMAH KAYU are friendly and respectful. Their hospitality is beyond what you can expect..location wise is good away from the city noise and you feel like everyone is whispering not to spoil the quiet moments for others 😅.. breakfast is good and swimming pool is nice. They offer full day private tours in a good condition car with an expert driver who will recommend where to go, however still you can plan your own trips. Highly recommended.

The location can be a bit hard to find for taxi drivers as Google maps doesn’t always work well with the tiny allies around.

Access to the hotel was not quite comfortable. You should get through the narrow alley which actually mostly for all Ubud accommodations.

The rooms were incredible, VERY clean in comparison to what we experienced in the rest of Bali, and the staff was beyond helpful and friendly. Also did the free yoga the one morning, which was great.

Unfortunately, the swimming pool was noticeably dirty, and I did not observe the proper functioning of the water filters. So, I didn't use swimming pool in my two days stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel, which boasts an excellent location, although it can be somewhat challenging to locate within the narrow streets. The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing, with beautifully maintained facilities. My room was spacious, immaculate, and well-organized. The staff members were exceptionally courteous and always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries. My overall experience was positive, thanks to the comfort of the accommodations and the outstanding service provided by the hotel staff.

Stunning garden with orchids and butterflies, palms and a lot of green stuff I don't know :) Infinity pool and poolside menu. That prawn gyoza. Cozy, well air-conditioned bungalow.
