AustraliaAbsolutely loved our stay at rumah Kelapa villa. Big comfy bed, magical balinese style in/outside garden bathroom & super relaxing pool space surrounded by coconut and banana trees made it feel very private and lush. All the staff are wonderfully helpful & the in-house restaurant was some of the freshest tastiest meals we had during our two week trip in Bali. (Make sure you pre book dinner, the curries are 10/10) Location is a 15 min walk or 2 min scooter ride to the stunning black sand beachfront of jasri. white sand beaches are just 5 mins drive south where you can have a massage on the beach and swim in crystal clear water! Thanks again John and the crew for a truely wonderful time in jasri. We'll be back.

United Arab EmiratesUnfortunately the room had dead bugs esp on the side beds. The rooms need to be cleaned up just before the arrival of guests.
It's quiet and in the midst of nature with plenty of trees and plants around. Be prepared to see a few bugs welcoming you but that's part of being one amongst nature. We stayed at the seppi villa which had a sit out and a gazebo with outdoor toilets which was really good

GermanyWe were quite disappointed with our stay. Firstly, let me say that the bungalows are stunning and the pool is very nice and the garden is fantastic (the gardner is working very hard and does a great job!) But I think the owners made some vital errors by building the bungalows in a semi-open fashion in the middle of the jungle. Our bungalow had a small and beautiful little kitchen attached, which was completely open between the roof and the walls and a window without glass. There was no door to our bedroom, just a doorway. Obviously there will be little creatures in the room and it is hardly possible for the staff to keep them at bay. In our first night we had 5 huge spiders in the (open) bathroom, in the room, inside the bed, on top of the mosquito net… flies and ants everywhere and on the second day a hornet was in the room and a lot of mosquitos. Also frogs in the bathroom which we didn't mind but yeah. Communication was also quite poor to be honest. It would have probably made a huge difference if we could have talked to someone or someone would have asked how we've been like we usually experience it on Bali. We had booked for three nights but decided to leave after two. The morning of our early check out was the first time we met the manager whom I had tried to contact via booking com, via whatsapp and email. No answer to any of it. He was unaware of my communication attempts. He was friendly but we were already checking out and it didn't help the situation anymore. We feel bad to leave a negative review. We can see that staff is working hard but for us it was a really poor experience. The only disappointment in overall 6 weeks of Bali. We know for sure that it is possible to spend time in the Balinese jungle without chilling with huge spiders in your bed. It is also quite isolated, if I had been travelling solo this would have felt like a total nightmare.
Beautiful bungalows and garden, we loved the pool, delicious food (but it's not a restaurant and dinner has to be ordered in advance as well as specific breakfast times are asked by the staff)

SpainVERY POOR deferred maintenance a lot was broken in the villa the door jammed curtains with holes many ants were in the woodwork ,every day we saw cockroaches walking ,aircon worked very badly ,mice in the ceiling that you heard walking at night. the price is to high for what you get. The australian owner really needs to maintain the villas better and do something about the mice and rats and cockroaches and ants otherwise no one will come again .
