Lighting in the room was poor. Lighting at night to entrance of your villa is dark which makes it difficult to find keyhole. Not much else the place is really unique and near perfect .

The resort in the countryside of Sidemen was just WOW ! The natural beauty of the grounds is outstanding ! The restaurants menu was quite varied and the food was very good. The staff were very attentive and welcoming ! They even organized for us to go ogoh ogoh parade/festival. A one of a kind experience. Semi outdoor washroom was great as was the wonderful shower. Had two great infinity pools looking out over the countryside. The hotel is located in a quiet area of east Bali and is a must visit. Some of the staff were exceptional in their care of clients. Namely Ari /Asih/Zety and Purna. Of course others were great as well. Hope to return one day to revisit our many friends !

Where to start! Samanvaya is truly unique and wonderful in every way. It is embedded in the idyllic rice fields with a breathtaking, calming view from the pool areas. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, stylish and decorated with love for detail. The whole Samanvaya property is very well cared for, luxurious and very clean. Every member of the staff made us feel at home and was kind, forthcoming and helpful. We had the best massages ever atAnanda Spa and the food at Asri Restaurant was absolutely delicious. Samanvaya manages perfection! We loved it and will definitely visit again. Thank you!

Quiet, stunning views, amazing facilities, exceptional food, great value, fantastic spa, spectacular accommodation, simply beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would say we were sad to leave and wished we had booked a longer stay. 4 nights wasn't long enough.

Nice view from the rooms over the rice fields and pool. The restaurant food is really nice for both breakfast and dinner. You can have a wide variety of services as silver classes, tea/sweet/cocktails time in the afternoon and even massage/spa at the location. It's very quite and really nice to enjoy a couple of days there.

The wifi signal was not great in my villa. My phone reverted to 4G a lot or nothing if I turned mobile data off. I would suggest some extenders perhaps. But also, being offline is also good!

Sidemen is a beautifully quiet area, much needed after visiting others places on Bali with traffic jams and lots of crowds during my trip. The scenery is breathtaking and Samanvaya is the jewel in the crown of places to stay there. The food in the restaurant is amazing. I had the honey glazed salmon starter every night of my stay. Consider me addicted! Delivery to the villa was super fast too. The staff are utterly wonderful and go above and beyond to assist with everything, including excursions and drivers/scooters. As with everywhere in Bali, WhatsApp is the means of communication, and they even provide a mobile to use. I would love to re-visit when it isn't quite so rainy! Thank you to everyone who made my solo trip really wonderful.

Standard room was smallish but beautifully appointed. The beer needed to be colder and the pillows were very high. No option for low pillow

Position and ambience the staff were very attentive and the property beautiful. The valley and pool awesome. Loved it was adults only such a chilled vibe The best part was looking over the extensive valley view. And just out the front door Mt Agung and heaps of great eateries very little traffic and easy walkability

Only the size of our villa was a little small with little storage space for suitcases/clothes etc.

We had an incredible time at the beautiful resort! We absolutely loved staying at Samanvaya and also in Sidemen. This area of Bali is still very authentic and less touristy, which we loved. I highly recommend the spa — I had the best massage ever! The restaurant is also very good (more vegetarian options would be great). Breakfast is superb. The view is just amazing. But most importantly, the staff is amazing. Communication with hotel managment/Staff is via WhatsApp/iPhone in the room and they supported us greatly in all matters. You feel super welcome, and everyone is super supportive and friendly. You should note that the sanitary facilities (toilet, sink, shower) are outside. (That didn't bother us, But there are probably people who don´t like outdoor bathroom facilities.)

was a bit disappointed by the diner options, also the bed is too soft for my taste, but all complaints on a very high level. in the end there are other restaurants around and food is good.

this is one of the most exceptional places you could stay. everything, from the rooms, the staff, the restaurant, spa, staff service and care, poolside area and the extra options like bicycles were 10/10. this is a must visit if you’re coming to Sideman, Bali.
