10/10 This hotel exceeds my expectations and I can honestly say it's the best resort I ever stayed. We booked 2 nights in Mandala 2 villa but we loved the resort so much so we extended our stay for 2 more nights in the Rice Barn villa. Rooms are huge and everything is eco Services 10/10 Staff 10/10 Food 10/10 Location 10/10 It's quiet, luxury, amazing designs, in the middle of rice fields. The resort is surrounded by breath taking views, close to Sidemen Rice Terraces tracking and waterfalls. The staff is very well mannered, intelligent and kind.They even prepared a small surprise for my birthday They support the locals and the schools, educating children and helping communities understand the importance of recycling I will return here everytime I will come to Bali, it's the perfect escape if you want few days of relax, peace and quiet

The two bedroom Villa wasn’t as comfortable as it could have been. The bed would shake every time we moved and we had to walk down stairs to restroom and the creaking staircase would wake the occupants in the second bedroom.

Gorgeous outlook, amazing masseuse, infinity pool. Really appreciated the attention to detail.

High end, boutique feel with good facilities and very attentive staff. Restaurant was amazing food and at very good prices for the quality offered. Plenty of tours on offer that can be organised through the resort, they were all fantastic.

Our room could have been a little bigger but the size was good enough for 2 persons.

Food was fantastic, dinner and breakfast very tasty and beautiful presented. All local staff and chefs which I admire from the hotel. It was one of the best hotels that we stayed at during our trip (stayed in 4 hotels). 2 swimming pools are not the biggest, but sufficient to cool down. Spa experience was great.

The most beautiful hotel we’ve stayed in! Service from all staff was exceptional with delicious breakfast served daily. Highly recommend the tours they provide, the cooking class and waterfall tour were fantastic fun. They even gave us a free room upgrade :) Would love to come back and stay longer next time!

Samanvaya offers breathtaking views over the Sidemen Valley. The resort is very well maintained, the pools, the gardens, the decorations, all details are thought of and the guests have a lot of privacy. The room was very nice and clean everything around is green and beautiful. I also visited the Spa and had a very nice and professional massage. I booked though the property a scooter trip to a nearby waterfall that was great, professional and timely service and a friendly and helpful guide. The food is very very good, though some people might find the portions too small. Around the resorts there are nice local shops and restaurants, the area is very peaceful and if you're looking to relax and enjoy the most amazing views this is a place not to miss.

the hotel is absolutely superb, the view, the staff, the restaurant and all its different areas, the spa... Everything is perfect. We did a trek in the rice fields, which was very good, but like everywhere in Bali in some places you come across accumulated rubbish or rubbish along the roads, which is a real shame...

Lack of lights at the bed to be able to read a book. Maybe dinner menu could use more vegetarian options but there are near by more restaurants to visit which offer also vegan and vegetarian food. But breakfast vegetarian/ vegan options were excellent!

First of all amazing location between the rice fields. Excellent and friendly staff, delicous breakfast and dinner. Great to see they try to be all natural and are using local resources to support the region. Everything was fantastic. Very quiet and relaxing place, felt really like in paradise. The hot tub in our room was super, all time heated and we used it very often since it was so good and spacious.

Little Paradise in Bali Incredible and Holistic resort amongst beautiful rice fields. Perfect for a getaway for some peace and quiet. Tranquil and plenty of positive energy. We had an amazing experience at the Samanvaya, the hotel is fabulous and very well looked after with beautiful views, staff are amazingly hospitable, kind and professional whether at the reception, restaurant, spa and garden keepers. If you're planning to visit Bali and want to spend your holidays in a relaxing setting at the country side of Sidemen, I recommend them a 120%.

the pool near reception area there are tables and chairs but they really need umbrellas as the sun is so hot between 8am to 3pm. Next time I would book larger room.

Loved the staff they really made our stay enjoyable. The restaurant has great food must try’s are the tuna tartare and the crispy fish with pepper sauce. the spa was excellent. Views from the pools amazing. Will definitely stay here again.
