Beds were slightly hard, air-conditioning was a bit noisy and sometimes the shower was not very hot (but honestly not a problem considering the heat outside).

Clean and spacious room. The garden and pool are beautiful, peaceful and well maintained. The staff of extremely responsive and are happy to support with requested. There's always water available at the rooms and the breakfast is great. The hotel offers a very convenient shuttle service (including small phone to call them if you didn't take a local SIM card), although be prepared for the trip to Ubud center to take a whole with the severe traffic end of the afternoon.

Just a small hiccups I mentioned above.

The property is absolutely beautiful. Nice and clean room, large bathroom, great WiFi connection that I use for work and had zero issues. The staffs are amazingly friendly, even the cat and the dog are cute and friendly!! I wish I could give 10 points for this property but unfortunately there was a miscommunication between the staffs that causes issues during my stay. I believe it wasn't intentional and a bit of changes in their SOP would sort it out and prevent the discomfort situation that could possibly ruined the experience. Thank you for the hotel Manager, Yuli, who is very open with feedbacks and did her best to solve the issues. Overall, they're highly professional and I can't recommend them highly enough! See you again soon guys <3

We had a perfect and lovely stay in Ubud: the room was spacious, clean and quiet, with a swimming pool beautifully surrounded by nature. There was nothing more pleasant and relaxing than a bath in the pool lightened by the lanterns. The team was extremely helpful and friendly, quickly responding to any request. The hotel offers free of charge drop off and pick up exclusively in Ubud, making it very comfy. The breakfast was really good, more than enough, with several options to choose from

The room was beautiful, clean and the bed very comfortable after a long day of exploring ubud. Ticked all the boxes for us and would happily come back!

Absolutely nothing.

This was our second hotel we stayed in Bali and we were blown away by the hospitality and friendliness of the staff here as well. Beautiful hotel rooms, stylish and modern with some traditional Balinese elements. The staff here goes above and beyond helping you, making you feel at home and genuinely showing interest in your experiences and activities (which they can also help arrange). The free shuttle and transport saved us a few times in the heat and madness that lied just outside this lush oasis. The traffic was crazy in Ubud, so walking is def faster and we were close to everything we wanted to see. The location was excellent, and even though it's very busy in the main road, you are surrounded by beautiful plants, birdsong and tranquility in the hotel. The pool was fantastic after exploring on a hot day - the pool water here was also colder which really helped to cool down. The restaurant also had a vegan breakfast menu that we were delighted by and the service here was just as good. Superb hotel, beautiful staff and a must experience if in Ubud. Take us back.

It is not the fault of sapodilla but this format of Villa - where a number of units face one pool in the middle - could be not for everybody. The neighbors are there all the time quite up close and personal, although all there for relaxing. There were no issues with the neighbors however. It was our first time to this format so it took some time to adjust. Also, there is not much to expect from the breakfast, although it does the job.

Staff were very attentive. A turnout service - provision of bedding and water in the afternoon during our absence - seems to be the norm in Bali. I especially liked the ride they give to and from the town - they give you a little phone so that you can call them even when you are near the town centre. The unit itself is great, a wide and large bath and shower. The location of the villa was excellent. Right nearby the main road but tucked away just right so that it is very quiet overall.

Sapodilla Ubud is a true wonderful Gem located in the best part of Ubud center but yet you feel the serene atmosphere of its garden and lush emerald green pool as soon as you enter ! The breakfast is delicious and can be delivered in your room with no extra charge.I h ad much & dinner most of my stay at the inner restaurant (and room service) and this was one of the best (and really affordable )sushis I had (and I just looove sushis :)) And ,last but certainly not least ,the AMAZING team !!!! They were truly the best in every way and I really want to thank particularly Rasmini ,Eka ,Yuli & Gun at the reception for their kindness , dedication and efficiency :) For me this the best money/value you can find in Ubud (and I am coming there for 28 years….) Congratulations you guys really made me feel at home !!

The staff here is absolutely amazing. They remembered our names, always greeted us, always smiling. I have never seen such a staff in my life, much respect and appreciation for this! The floating breakfast was fabulous and I think that it wasn't too expensive for this experience, I highly recommend trying it once. Even though the location is not great, they offer free shuttle to go to the city center and back, and being in an a/c cooled car is much better than strolling on the streets of Ubud. Breakfast is quite good and the options are quite varied if you ask me.

This place was the perfect choice for us. Rooms are clean, staff is very polite and helpful. The place is magnificent, close to the centre but quiet. They have free transfer all day long to any part of Ubud, which can be really helpful. We arranged everything through WA, breakfast to the room, transfers and such, they reply in a minute all the time. We stayed through Nyepi, where we had breakfast, lunch, dinner, water delivered to the door without asking. They have really great programs, such as learning how to make a Canang and so on 😊 Recommended to everyone who likes a cozy, jungle-like experience, family size place to stay 😊

Perfect place to stay in Ubud. This was such a beautiful property. Its a small boutique hotel which is in the market area but it was soo quite n serene. Everything was on walking distance from the hotel.

Air conditioner in room struggled a little but then so did I in the Bali heat and humidity.

The staff were exceptional! Very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Outstanding level of service. Dropped us off in Ubud centre a couple of times using the hotel cart - very handy. The rooms were large and comfortable. Lovely pool area. Afternoon tea was served every afternoon. Fantastic value for money in Ubud.

Really wonderful and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to be helpful and accomodating. I can't just name one because everyone was part of the experience. Sapodilla is a small, peaceful and cozy hotel. Large and comfortable room overlooking the swimming pool which I spent most evenings in. The shuttle to and from the city centre was very helpful. I'd love to come back.

The servicing of the room sometimes didn't happen particularly well, but it's a minor thing.

The staff are incredibly helpful and warming. Even sending personalised whattsapp messages before arrival. The family feel in the hotel gives it something that is really special. The free shuttle around town operates incredibly well. The pool area is very calming. Lovely hotel cat too. Overall a brilliant stay and thoroughly recommended.
