Our only issue was that the window curtain was too thin which meant a lot of light came into the room at night time even with our balcony light turned off. We had to hang the beach towels up to block out some light so we could sleep better.

We stayed 10 days and would have stayed longer. For us this was a little gem. For a 3 star hotel the room size, especially the bathroom, was even larger than the bathroom at Pelangi which we'd paid a much higher price for. The room size was excellent allowing space for us to do our excercises. The additional lovely porch/balcony space was an added bonus where we read and played games in the breeze. The small selection of breakfast items was adequate. Location so close to the beach and eateries excellent. The pool was lovely too. Staff lovely and it will now be our go to place when we return to Bali as also the price was very affordable. The whole setting of this place is very traditional Balinese which we loved.

A lot to like about this place. Great location, generally quiet, nice pool area, filling breakfast (love the 'egg station'), really nice staff. All the staff were helpful and consistently friendly. Nyoman at the front desk was especially helpful. At first, the wifi didn't work great in my room, but that got solved after a few days. I will definitely return to Sari Bunga, and highly recommend it.

This is a great old Bali style hotel. Not one of the big horrible chain hotels. Rooms are simple, good size. Very good value and good location. Breakfast is fine....better than many of the cheaper options. Reception staff are friendly and helpful.

There is nothing that I could complain about

We had a wonderful stay at Sari Bunga. Without realising I had booked Sari Bunga for the first time ever to stay there. Once we arrived i realised that we had just come from their sister hotel in Sanur in which we have stayed before and we were delighted to some familiar faces amongst their staff. The staff are all so welcoming and there is nothing that they would not do for you. We feel like part of the Sari Bunga family. This hotel is in an amazing location. 2 minute walk to the beach and with plenty of restaurant options nearby. The hotel is nice, small and personable, clean, comfy beds, large rooms, large newly renovated bathrooms, big verandahs, secure, nice size pool with sufficient sunloungers. The included brekkie is basic but enough for us and the restaurant has a good selection of delicious food. I would 100% stay at this hotel again. I'm bad with names so I can't remember everyone's names but a special shout out to the delightful Yani and Nyoman in reception and the lovely Ketut in the restaurant.

The rooms had black mould on the doors and ceilings. The toaster and juice dispenser gave electric shocks in the shared dinning area. The staff seemed to think it was funny.

This property is very old and dusty, surrounded by constructions and abandoned buildings. Breakfast is the worst I've ever seen on Bali. All looked like leftovers of some yesterday meals. No choice at all. Towels and beds smelled with dust. No shampoo or shower gel, faulty shower. The hotel is quite close to the beach, as stated. In December the beach was extremely durty, no chance to enjoy it. Same was the whole shore of this side of Bali. Though staff is nice the place needs better attention and cleaning.

Internet connection was awful. Netflix was a no-go here and couldn’t connect to wi-fi anywhere. Breakfast was simple, buffet style. Slight walk to the beach. Beaches are covered in trash, sadly, in this area.

Upgraded to a suite as they were overbooked. Very simple accommodations but large shower, hot water, and Air conditioning worked well.

The concierge at night was rude and unhappy that I was saying goodbye to my family after dinner and seeking shelter from the rain in the main outdoor reception area. After I had left, it was converted to English for me to understand why everyone's night was ruined
