Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaIt was a decent walk with our suitcases before we found what may or may not have been a reception. (I still don't know) No one was there so I started scouting the area till I found someone gardening in one of the villas. He happily came and showed us to our villa. So it wasn't too bad. But if an area needed improving I'd say that could be improved but it wasn't much of an issue for us. It may be for others though.
We stayed only a few hours as we preferred driving out to here than staying at the airport waiting for our next flight. It was exactly what we wanted a comfortable bed to rest in, peaceful location to settle our minds and a nice private pool to refresh ourselves before continuing on our journey.

GreeceNo negatives
The room was clean and very big, the staff was very kind and the breakfast every morning at the restaurant of the hotel was amazing! Very quiet, in the nature, away from the hustle of Ubud

NetherlandsNothing really.
We had a wonderful stay at Sarini villas. Our villa felt a bit like a nature cottage and was fully constructed of wood. It's one spacious room equipped with a comfortable bed, wardrobe and desk, air conditioning, ceiling fan and good wifi. It was clean, and water and coffee were replenished daily. The villa has a semi-outdoor bathroom and a private swimming pool with lounge chairs. The villa's garden is sheltered, offering privacy, and there's also a covered terrace. It's a wonderfully quiet and peaceful area, and waking up there is a bliss. With the motorbike rented at the villa we could easily reach the center of Ubud (15-20 minutes). The owners were such a sweet and friendly family; they invited us to one of their children's ceremonies. I had a meal with them and was treated to a delicious homemade coconut drink (alcohol). They told us about the area, Balinese customs, and their family. The family made our stay unforgettable; thank you for that!

United StatesNothing negative to report - nothing to complain
Our host welcomed us. Villa was prepared for us and illuminated to its best. As a welcome gift - some fruits and water have been waiting for us. The warm welcome thru the owner, the rustic style of the building, the pool and location in nature. The attention to our needs and requests! It was wonderful!

AustraliaNothing! It was great
It is very beautiful and comfortable. And do try the village food and not just the tourist restaurants. There are many small stalls on the street and the food there was spicy and full of flavour. There are different stalls on the street different time of the day. We’ve tried many of them during our stay and did not have any problems with the food there. The small shop at the entrance of the alley will open at night maybe after 8pm and has beer!

United KingdomThe family who own the villas and live on site were super friendly. They were keen for guests to have total privacy, if that’s what you wanted, so we were given a WhatsApp number to text through any queries or requests. No breakfast available on site but there is a kitchen area with sink, fridge and cooker. Once inside your bungalow, you are totally private. The small pool was just great. It was a little disconcerting - when we arrived - to find that the bathroom (shower, toilet and sink) was outside, but we quickly got used to it. In fact, it made perfect sense. There were shower curtains to pull around the shower area to give more privacy. We loved the site - beautiful gardens and tucked away from the main road, so very quiet. There is a petrol station shop and a good pizza restaurant just a few minutes walk away. There is also a cafe/restaurant (Diolas) nearby.
