Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanEverything was amazing.
Our recent stay at Sebatu Tullen Villa was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views. The private infinity pool was the perfect place to relax and soak up the stunning scenery. The villa itself was beautifully designed and impeccably maintained. It was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a luxurious getaway. But the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. It exceeded all of our expectations, with a delicious variety of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We highly recommend Sebatu Tullen Villa to anyone seeking a truly unforgettable Bali experience.

SlovakiaAn absolute hidden gem. If you're looking for a calm beautiful place to enjoy some time outside of busy Ubud, this is the spot. Very close to many good restaurants, activities, and also Ubud should you want to visit, but simultaneously away from it all. We loved our stay here and could only recommend the place!

AustraliaBungalows were located on the road side of the property. Whilst the road is not particularly busy it was enough to be annoying.
Absolutely beautiful setting and lovely traditional style bungalow. Pool area just perfect for an afternoon. Quiet area.

United KingdomIt is very beautiful and peaceful. If you'd like to be away from the buzz of the city, this is the perfect place. The staff are also very kind and helpful, they explained everything when we got there. We also asked for a floating breakfast and they prepared it on time and had the pool warm and ready. Will definitely come back!

United KingdomCould not fault this place
This place was so peaceful. Great to have the private pool and be able to just relax in the quiet! Close enough to easily get to Sebatu, the rice fields or even ubud by a taxi. This was our favourite stay during our trip to Bali. If you walk up to the local restaurants at night you will see the fireflies on the rice fields. This hotel was beautiful and we will definately be back. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Definately worth a. Visit!

LithuaniaWe stayed for 3 nights at suite villa with private pool and it was so nice that we were sad to leave. When we first arrived here, we got a little scared, as the villa is located (seems like) in the middle of nowhere, with very few places around it, however we soon fell in love with it. The villa itself was very clean and comfortable. The first night there we had a feeling like we were sleeping outside because we could hear every little insect from the outside making their noises, but got used to it after one night. Very nice experience :) The bathroom was very cool too! In the villa you can order breakfast, we tried it for one morning and ended up eating breakfast there every morning because they bring you breakfast to your own terrace and you can eat and enjoy the view at the same time. The villa also offers to take several tours. First day we took the tour we liked our driver/guide so much that we took another tour the next day as well. He not only took us around and gave us time to enjoy the sights as long as we wanted but he also explained a lot of cultural things and shared stories which we really appreciated. Thank you once again! The staff is also great, we were greeted by such a sweet guy, he helped with our things, showed us around, and came by our room later to take our breakfast order. The staff that were on shift when we left was also great, again helped with our things, offered water and coffee while we waited for a driver. Also, they were huge help because after we checked-out we were having trouble getting a driver to come pick us up, so the staff called the driver/guide that took us to the tours, who helped us to get to the other location without prior notice. Thank you very much! Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this villa for others :) However be aware that to get to the nearest restaurant you have to climb a very steep hill. It was not a problem for us :)

PortugalThe hotel is a bit remote so you don’t have a lot of options to eat. We didn’t have car or bike so we took a 5 minute walk up the street to have dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. It was one of the best meals we had in Bali.
Everything was amazing. We had a great one afternoon and night experience. Our room was wonderful with a net over the bed and a spacious bathroom (hot water in the shower and all amenities were provided). The pool overlooks to the rice fields and tropical forest. The staff were greatly thoughtful and the breakfast was excellent (you can choose one of three options - American, continental or Indonesian - and eat it in your balcony). Can’t recommend enough!

United KingdomNo mosquito net (although they did provide a plug in repellent). Lots of steps in the property wouldn’t be good for anyone with mobility issues. Breakfast doesn’t start until 8am, this seemed late as most tours/drivers will pick you up around this time for daily excursions so had to go off without breakfast.
Lovely property with gorgeous views. We had a private pool which was nice however the water was freezing! Room was clean and nicely presented with all the amenities you need. 10 minute walk from a couple of nice waterfalls that are worth a visit. It is very remote - only one restaurant nearby - however nice to relax in quiet surroundings after a busy day. We ordered food from the grab at for the evening we stayed in.

United KingdomTraffic noise from the road in the early morning but that’s pretty much everywhere in Bali.
Gorgeous serene villas overlooking the rice paddies. The people working there were incredibly kind and helpful. The villas were exquisite. In the middle of the jungle but within walking distance of a couple of good warungs and the charming village of Sebatu, complete with waterfalls and temples.
