I loved everything about Selong Selo. There is nothing I did not like. One small suggestion would be to suggest nearby restaurants as there are a lot and not too far. You won’t lose clientele by letting guests know more about the local area . We will still dine in your fabulous restaurant too :)

Simply exceptional. Every aspect of these stunning villas is outstanding along with exemplary staff. I can’t rate this property high enough and we have now been spoiled for the rest of Lombok ! Meals were also of the highest quality and the coffee!! Delicious. This is an oasis to be enjoyed by couples , families and friends. They seem to have a villa to suit anyone. Even the cleaners are of the highest standard. I love it so much I really want to keep it a secret but that would not be fair to the hardworking , friendly team there. I also tried their spa facilities and chose a Sasak massage. Loved it. Can’t wait to return. I wish you all success for the future. Thankyou so very much.

Unfortunately there was some problems with hot water and general water flow but the staff would act immediately to solve any problems.

The staff were exceptional and attended to our every need. The views were beautiful. The house was very big providing each person with their own space. The breakfast was immaculate. Being in constant contact with staff over WhatsApp was very helpful for planning shuttle services and day trips.

Pool appeared dirty. No sun beds (bean bags not ideal for laying on when there are ants everywhere). Hidden costs.

The location was a bit far to drive into town - about 45 mins. But that’s also what allowed for the stunning view being nestled in the mountain!

It was the perfect location for relaxing and enjoying the wonderful views over the landscape to the coast. It is in a remote location so we were very happy that the resort restaurant was excellent for our meals. The management team and all the staff were extremely helpful and attentive.

Selong Selo is just as beautiful as the pictures. The villas were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. There is a free shuttle to the beach but recommend getting a motorbike to explore the area. The food at the resort’s restaurant was top notch!! The chef there is amazing and will prepare things to your needed. Would go back.

(-) the access to the resort was through narrow uphill & downhill road. The road was smooth and was accesible with city car though. (-) lack of details; lower bedroom key was stuck so the door could not be locked, glassdoors of lower bedroom could not be opened (they did not give the key), showerjet in upper bedroom toilet was leaking, bedroom floor was little bit dusty (-) restaurant was overpriced, the food was so so (-) there was construction work near my villa (-) I don't think this place was safe for little kids

(+) Beautiful scenery, overlooking selong belanak beach (+) I love the architectural and interior design of the villa. We also got upgraded to 2 bedroom villa. It also had 2 swimming pools.

Beautiful location on the hilltop with amazing views to the ocean. Villas are very private and quiet. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Shuttle to Selong Belanak beach is great and the beach areas itself is beautiful.

The villa was not well maintained and several items were damaged. Every items such as ice and drinks in fridge are chargeable. For a luxury villa charging SGD 1k per night, it didn't meet the expectation.

Only the location is good, the view was beautiful. However, We were not given the same villa that was booked and only upon filing a complaint, the team offered an alternative unit. We were told the resort was fully booked earlier. This villa is only half the size and actual booked unit is at least double the size with 2 storey. Refund for the difference was given only after negotiation.

The villa had some design issues which made it little uncomfortable, like the weird door to the kitchenette. Pool area was unusable during sunset due to quite aggressive monkeys!

Amazing views from this location. Restaurant was really nice. Staff went above and beyond. They were all so lovely.

We made a booking where the payment was to be made at the property some four months in advance - the property emailed us and made us do an online transfer of the entire amount the very same day of booking, which was strange. These are privately owned villas (each villa has a different owner) - this means the quality of the furnishings etc. in the villas are not consistent. The Management of the villas changed after covid and there is rather a lack of proper management. The villas have been unoccupied for a long time so there is a stale smell that runs through them. The gym is modern with all the equipment but not sure when was it last cleaned. There were spiderwebs on the brand new dumbbells! The food is below average but extremely expensive and you are stuck because there is literally nothing outside the villas for next 25kms. Restaurant staff admitted that some of the food is cooked once a week and is not necessarily fresh. We ended up going to Kuta Mandalika (45mins drive, and an excellent town with great food options) and getting food for the next day so we were not stuck with the only option of eating stale food in the Aura restaurant! The middle-of-nowhere location has its charm but it only works when everything in the resort is functional, which unfortunately is not the case. The villas are not disabled or child friendly, you have to climb 40-50 steep steps to get to your villa so be prepared for that. Also, when it is dark, you cant go anywhere inside the resort as its pitch dark without any street lights. Its a great property but just needs some proper management.

The property has breathtaking views of the Selong Belanak beach. The Villas are modern and well equipped. The Front Office Supervisor, Bali was exceptional. He is probably the only experienced staff member in the resort. When our villa had multiple issues, Bali moved us to a different and better villa, which was one of the best villas in the resort.
