Bungalows are very small and they lack your typical amenities like kettle and mini-fridge. Breakfast is served at 8, which is quite late for early risers or if you have activities booked or ferries to catch.

Staff is what makes your stay at Selvatica special. Ejal, Gita and the other guys were very attentive, kind and fun. They accommodated our requests and were always helpful.

Staying in Selvatica was a wonderful experience. So many details of this boutique little settlement with cute comfortable stylish cabins are so special - from the nicest welcome drink and cold towels to freshen up, to the branded wooden straws, little candles, seductive lighting of your private cabin, cute presents for the guests - so many ways to feel very welcome! On top of that, the ever so kind and dilligent personell makes this stay unforgettable! We would like to express our gratitude especially to our head of the reception, Ijal, who was always willing to go an extra mile for his guests with a warm smile on his face - thank you!! We definitely reccommend this place!

A minor thing is just to cut a little bit some of the trees that are on the way, but the rest all perfect.

You feel like in the jungle around so many trees and nature. You have the beach 5-8 minutes walking, I recommend to rent a scooter, it was so much fun to go around the island with that one. Service was amazing! They respond very quick all my WhatsApp messages. I had an issue with the speed boat as was cancelled the day of arrival due to weather and they stayed in touch until we arrived, they were very kind helping us to find a way around to get to the island from Padang bai, thank you. Breakfast was great, they guys do a good job.

The hotel was so peaceful, clean and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Gita was so kind with providing us all his recommendations and could not do enough for us. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the pancakes were the best we have ever had!! The location is perfect and you are able to rent bikes from the hotel. A definite must if you are staying in Gili Air!! We already cannot wait to go back one day.

Selvatica is an absolute dream! Nestled in a lush tropical oasis, this boutique resort offers the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience, being just a short walk from the beach. The breakfast was simply delicious, a wonderful way to start each day in paradise. But what truly sets Selvatica apart is the staff – they are incredible! Everyone was so kind and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. A special shoutout to Izal, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. Selvática is one of those places that you don’t want to leave. The cottages are very well designed and come with everything you may need during your stay. The lush greenery makes you feel relaxed from the very first moment. The garden is beautiful and the swimming pool is impeccably clean. Breakfast served on the cottage terrace is delicious. But what makes this place really stand out is the staff, always cheerful, welcoming and helpful. I loved every second of my stay in Selvática.

Absolutely loved my stay! It’s the little thoughtful touches that made all the difference – from the lemongrass insect repellent, to the sleep kit and mood lighting for a peaceful night. They even provided a custom Google Maps with saved places and recommendations. Every detail showed real care. Highly recommend!

While everything was wonderful nothing to really dislike, but if I could suggest one improvement.. it would be great if the bikes provided for exploring the island were included in the stay, as it would enhance the overall experience and align perfectly with the relaxing atmosphere of Salvatica.

Our stay at Salvatica was nothing short of amazing! We initially booked for just one night but ended up extending for three more because we loved it so much. We would have stayed even longer if we didn’t have a flight to catch! The staff was absolutely fabulous—professional, genuine, and always eager to assist with anything we needed. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their attentiveness truly made our stay exceptional. A huge thanks to the entire team for making us feel so welcome and cared for! The cleanliness was impeccable, and the pool was always sparkling. The staff worked tirelessly but discreetly—watering plants, cleaning umbrellas, and keeping the property pristine, all without intrusive. Their presence ensured everything was well-maintained while giving us complete privacy. One standout feature was the detailed, unbiased recommendations they provided on where to eat and what to do. These suggestions were based on real customer experiences, not business connections, and every place they recommended was fantastic. The breakfasts were delicious, and having filtered water readily available was a thoughtful touch. While the property isn’t directly on the beach, it’s close enough for a quick visit, yet far enough to offer peace and quiet, undisturbed by outside noise. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we’re already looking forward to returning. A big thank you to the amazing staff once again!

There is nothing we didn’t like. The only “negative” feedback has got more to do with some of the suppliers of Selvatica rather than Selvatica themselves so I don’t feel like I should penalize this hotel for stuff that is honestly out of their control.

Located on the north end of the island so far from the hustling of the “centre”. The staff (Gita, Sandra, and all the other colleagues) are very welcoming and friendly and helpful. The infrastructure is very nice and the place overall can only fit very few people (there are only 5 villas, each can host 2-3 people max) so it’s very quiet and private. Several options for breakfast. Very close to the “famous” Legend Bar and northwest shore of the island.

Great staff, meticulously clean, private, small scale, nearby to beach and chilled restaurants and bars. Lovely pool. Cute amenities kit on the pillow too. A perfect place to bring a group. There’s five rooms so a perfect place for big e tended family or friend group.

Although the staff was lovely and attentive, not quite up to standard for the money you are paying. Our bin had not been cleaned yet on arrival. Our breakfast was delivered at 7.30 the first morning instead of 9.30.

Superb location 2min walk from beach. Only 5 accommodations total so nice and quiet. Lovely pool and general setting - tropical feel. Yummy breakfast. Great property but maybe missed that something special for a great stay considering the money you pay.

We loved our stay here! Staff were fantastic - friendly, responsive and professional. The accomodation is clean, perfectly maintained and very comfortable, with a really comfy bed.Bed really comfy bed - the air conditioner is great. Location is great very convenient with an easy walk or bike ride to lots of cafes, restaurants, snorkelling etc. The team arranged our snorkelling boat trip, on site bike hire, boat tickets, and cold drinks are available. The pool and the garden are beautifully maintained. To top it off, breakfast was delicious.
