Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesAmazing Stay at Senpeda Hostel! I stayed at Senpeda Hostel for four days, and it was an incredible experience! The big swimming pool, yoga studio, and cozy café made my stay super comfortable. The daily activities were fun and a great way to meet people. The staff and owner are exceptionally humble and polite, creating a warm and welcoming vibe. If you’re looking for a relaxing yet social place in Ubud, this is it! Highly recommended!

Hungary-Very nice and helpful staff, the volunteers are amazing -free yoga and social activities, like movienight, surfing, boardgames, etc. It is not a party hostel! Even if there is some music, it stops at 10pm. - free water - clean - nice pool area - no free coffee, like at many places - if you ask for breakfast to late, the banana pancake with juice might be without banana, and without juice. :) -No fridge -No common kitchen, it is not allowed to order food, basically you are forced to eat and drink from the bar, unless you leave the hostel. - one day I could not get an empty glass from the bar, only after multiple requests -The small working area is still warm, air conditioner is a bit loud. - one can get cold in the room with sweat body, there is 19 Celsius all the time - nothing in walking distance, maybe a few cafés

United KingdomOnly thing is the no outside food ban that’s being introduced 25th.
I love Sepeda !!! Juana made my stay , being a solo traveller it was so helpful having the volunteers introduce you to people and I was made to feel so welcome! The front desk staff were also so also and they couldn’t do enough to help you. The games every night help people get to know each other. I extended my stay an extra 6 days and I will 100% be back because of the great staff and volunteers.

AustraliaMore than the place itself, it was the people staying there. They were very inconsiderate of the schedule, coming into the room speaking loudly and slamming doors. It was hard to get any rest…o
The place is nice and well distributed, and they also have regular activities.

NetherlandsBeds are a bit hard & therefore also make more noise turning, together with the crisp sheets
I loved the free yoga by Abbie, such a lovely teacher. The other volunteers were all lovely as well! Also the vibe in the hostel is nice and chill, your can socialize but also chill on your OWN. It’s nice that its a bit of a quiet area, surrounded by ricefields

UkraineOne of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in! It feels like my second home. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. There are lots of fun activities like movie nights, yoga, and karaoke. It’s especially great for solo travelers. Everything is always clean, and they clean every day. There’s also a great co-working space for getting work done. I highly recommend this hostel to everyone!

Best hostel in Canggu! I’ve been Travelling Indo for 4 months, I know what I’m talking about 😁 Here’s what I like ⬇️ Perfectly located near the center of Canggu, but not too loud or busy. Very spacious, large open spaces, beds are comfortable and clean as well as the bathrooms. Co working area was perfect for me to work in during the day. And evening activities made it nice to also enjoy the social life of the hostel. There’s a nice bar and pool table and a big swimming pool with a volleyball net. Free activities like yoga are organised! And there’s even an outdoor Gym. It’s like they really though of everything I needed 😂 Free breakfast to top it off and all this at such a fair price. Can’t find better than Sepeda ! Don’t need to 😁 Thank you Sepeda, see you soon 🙏

JapanUnlike the sweet, kind, and hardworking staffs, the owners were unfriendly and didn’t make me feel very welcome.
I especially enjoyed the weekday morning yoga classes—they were the highlight of my stay! The staffs were incredibly welcoming and made everything even better. Huge thanks to Abbie, Emilia, Kadi, Fadi, Edi, Hendra, and the lovely reception team for their kindness and hospitality. The bathrooms were very clean and well-maintained. I liked that I could get a fresh towel whenever I needed one. The hostel hosts daily events, and if you’re in the mood, you can continue the party elsewhere afterward. The people staying there were also nice, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to socialize. You’ll also meet plenty of digital nomads, making it a great place to exchange interesting business ideas.

United KingdomEmilia made it a 10/10, she was so nice, love all the party promoters made us feel really at home and safe. Them and some people who’d been staying there a while helped us move room when there was a dodgy guy in ours, because there was no input from the actual hostel staff.

The staff are incredibly lovely and make you feel right at home. Everything is super clean, and they organise fun activities every night, which is a great way to include everyone and make new friends. The location is beautiful, right in the middle of the rice fields, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Canggu while still being close to everything. PolandThere are constructions like 5meters away so quiet yoga class is not so quiet anymore - not of the hotel fault of course. Just to be aware. The prices in the hotel bar very high comparing to the avarage in the city. I paid 46k for black coffe, while 10meters away in nice coffe shop you will pay 28k.
I linked the Staffa there. Very kind, helpful and smoking. Making the stay really pleasant. The rooms are very clean. When I asked for additional sheet, there was no issue to get one. There is just one bathroom for about two rooms-6 people in each,so not sure how this works in high season. Since there was only 4 of us in my room, one bathroom did not bother me. Nice free breakfast. Nothing big but still free.
