The bathroom is open therefore there were a lot of mosquitos, some roaches and spiders on top of the walls. We have some rains so we had some leaks, nothing serious but nobody wants them anyway.

Staff is super friendly, we were ordering and they brought it to the room, we rent bikes at the hotel.

We requested a double bed, but they gave us 2 small beds, when we asked for the one we requested they wanted to charged us a higher rate, that we of course denied to payed. There is no cleaning service except to ask for, they don't even change the towels after 4 days.

The hotel is nice, and the rooms are fine. The staff is super nice, but don't understand 100% English so sometimes is a bit hard to communicate.

We book the snorkelling tour through the hotel and there were multiple misunderstandings due to language barriers for eg price, duration etc. Cross check always the confirmations you are given, better have it in writing.

Not much to dislike, but this is not a villa as the name suggests :) Its a wooden cottage style hotel with individual rooms. Small property, but proximity to the sunset beach and neighbouring area are great

About 100 meters from the beach, great food and drinks options at the hotel and all around. Very helpful staff that try to take of guest needs.

Well, where do I begin. The place is fine, but it's really nothing that special or worth the 4-star rating, as it may be understood in the West. It's quite basic, actually, and nothing you cannot find in a lot of 2-star hotels at half the price. Yes, the room is large enough, it has an AC, it has an open air shower, probably to fight with the constant humidity and mold, and the swimming pool is ok. However, this place doesn't seem to be managed by anyone, there are a couple of youngsters doing random chores, but there's no room service, they don't even clean the ashtrays that are left outside, after a couple of days you may swim in empty water bottles and trash, no one will pick it up, you'll have to tell them, and that's quite a turn-off, I mean it's really a basic thing. The breakfast is quite poor and half of the time they didn't have the items we wanted. We ended up going to other places. I would not stay here again, nor would I return to the Gili Islands, I didn't feel them at all, they're so different from Bali, the people and everything, so I'd rather skip.

The room is ok, has everything you need, including an AC that is a must. The pool is ok also, and there are great views of the sunset on the nearby beach.

The property had a great location! It was in the sunset area so the sunset was amazing. The business was also family-driven which means the staff were super sweet and always there for you. The pizzeria from the hotel was also great!

The pool area is not very inviting - I was kind of jealous of the hotels near by that had very nice looking pools to hang out in inbetween activities. The outdoor bathroom is nice, but an issue when it rains (the toilet should be covered).

The rooms are very nice. We had an upstairs room which was huge! The staff is also very friendly and always willing to help. The location is good - it’s not in the center but a 15 min bike ride away and it has many options for restaurants very close by.

The room was decent. We were informed that we will get a pool view team while booking but that was not the case. Overall it was a good stay. Location is great as it is towards the quieter side of Gili T.

Breakfast service was very slow. We did not have any sort of housekeeping during our 4 night stay, which wasn't too much of a problem, apart from the floors could have done with a sweep due to having an outside bathroom so naturally bringing in small amounts of dirt. Location is nice, but 30 minute walk from the lively part of Gili T, restaurant choices and mart shops are limited on this side of the island.

Located right on the beach, plenty of places to sit always available. Located on the quieter side of the island, only a handful of restaurants over this side of the island.

The biggest recommendation would be to make the signage more visible. We decided to walk there when we first arrived so we could take in the sights but we went right past it. Even when we turned around to come back to find it, locals needed to show us.

Staff were amazing! Very helpful and attentive. Serene may not be the flashiest place but it is well located, clean and really peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay. I think it is the best spot to enjoy the sunset.

We've been 2 nights and in the las day we wanted the breakfast at 7:45-8:00 because they told us that the breakfast is served between 7:30-11:30, we had to leave the establishment leaving the keys of the room in the reception without anyone there and without eating breakfast.

The room was comfy, big and very clean. The pool was great The staff is no always in the reception.

The mattresses were not clean ( we arrived earlier than expected and we could see the room from the previous guests) . The staff could not speak english properly, so we had difficulties in communicating with them

I would choose a different hotel in the future as I want to have more options for restaurants and shopping. It was however very quiet and nice. The staff was really lovely but struggled with their English unfortunately. For information the water level is very sensitive to the tide. In the evening the water began at least 100 m out and you have to walk there on sharp rocks and corals. This seems to be all around Gili T however and not only on sunset beach area.

I liked the staff, excellent breakfast and lovely sunsets on the beach.
