What a wonderful place! It’s in the middle of a quiet garden but in the real centre of Ubud. Not a luxurious accommodation but very authentic and clean. Yoyok is an amazing host! He helped with everything we needed - scooter, laundry, transport to Gili Islands. We really liked that you can have a real Balinese breakfast with many options (rice porridge with egg, satay, sweet cakes with coconut and palm syrup) - did not see it anywhere else. We had a great time!

SingaporeNothing too major, just ants, which is normal in Bali or any place with lots of plants. The place is beautiful with the plants, so it's a small inconvenience.
We loved the host there. Yoyok & Mimi were terrific during this stay, ensuring our stay was comfortable. Here, it's very first-time-visitor friendly as you can converse with the host here in English and get to know of popular places from them. Massage is done by Mimi, who has many years of experience; be sure to let her know where you often face problems. Many people come back to her when they are visiting Bali. Plus point is since it's a home business, I don't have to specially travel out for one. Water is provided by refilling your bottles, The Bathroom is extremely spacious. The location is easily walkable to common places in Ubud. They are near SPAs, Batik Classes, Eats. Near the famous Babi Guling Ibu Oka in Ubud too! It's a great place to chill with nearby activities if you're not the sort to go on tours but want to rest outside of your country. However, if you need drivers, you can speak to Yoyok to arrange if you're unfamiliar!

FranceI stayed (unfortunately) only one night but had a great experience at Shana Homestay. First of all, the room was comfortable and spacious and very clean. The whole place felt very quiet and peaceful although it's located in the very center of Ubud. Yoyok and his family are wonderful hosts, available anytime and most importantly very generous and hospitable. They invited me to a family temple ceremony which was very interesting and offered me delicious Balinese food 😊 Matur Suksma 🙏 I will definitely stay at their place again and absolutely recommend it to anyone!

My stay was short, but Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bali!

CanadaThe bed in our tidy room was massive! Two people can sleep without noticing the other. The breakfast every morning was always exquisitely presented. We have eggs and toast as well as two different types of Balinese breakfasts. All adventure and tours were booked through the homestay (tour of Ubud and rafting is what we did). As well, cultural locations, restaurants and activities were all within a 10 minutes walk! The place is beautiful and clean.
