The bathroom. The design is not good. The shower drain is on the other side of the bathroom so when you use the shower the bathroom floods and the water doesn't go into the drain so you have to ask the staff for a mop each time. Nice big balcony but there wasn't any wall or anything to separate with the people staying next door. Could do with something between each balcony. Nice big sofa on the balcony but no pillow so not comfy to sit outside on the hard wooden sofa. Towels for the pool would be good.

Some more touches to the room would be awesome, things like bath mats, more pillows, a better blanket.

We enjoyed our one-night stay at Sky Mountain, mainly for the beautiful architecture of the hotel and the incredible view. We were in one of the low-key rooms on the ground floor (rather than the bungalows by the pool), which sometimes felt it was missing details; for example, we only had one double sheet as a 'blanket', one pillow each, no bath mats, things like that. Plus the breakfast was a little sad as well, but you can't complain too much with the amazing view. This is the kind of hotel you'd likely want a moped for (without our mopeds, it would've been a mission to get up and down the hill!). Overall, a good stay!

Argi, Tommy, and Mey were all amazing!!! They were so accommodating with everything we needed. Our room was perfect And the views were amazing especially by the pool😍 We would definitely recommend!

The room was much worse compared booking pictures. Gekos, worms, mosquitos in the room. The sheets were dirty and towels were not white as you can see attached pictures. Bathroom was not beautiful at all. Room was very basic and not cleaned properly. Staff was very nice and helpful, but room was not worth the money I spent.

The room smelled like mould really badly. We didn’t have running water for on one evening so we weren’t able to take a shower. The building is built cheaply. The sink is made from wood and the drainage pipe is leaking

The road up is a little bit difficult during and storm but the staff are amazing - shout out to Wira for peddling me into town when I was too worried to drive, he’s a total angel!

The property is so great! I stayed in room 8 which is the most basic room but it was amazing! The air do was cool, the bed was super comfy, clean, bright and white! Great shower room, coffee and tea available at all times. Lovely breakfast! Great pool and stunning views!

The open space of the bathroom allows insects to come in the room. And there were only 2 towels for 2 days. And no blankets despite the AC in the room.

The location was great and we had a really good time view from our terrace.

The accommodation is so beautiful, such an amazing design. Our room was so spacious and luxurious with a big balcony from which we could see Kuta beach. The included breakfast is delicious and such generous servings, the breakfast area is a beautiful bamboo space with big tables over looking the ocean, there is tea and coffee on tap. Free refillable water! Pool is beautiful and also looks over the ocean. And the staff were next level, so helpful, friendly and generous! We couldn’t believe the price so affordable for such an incredible stay we felt so lucky to find this place.

-Laundry: We chose to send off our laundry here to be cleaned, we got our laundry back the night before we departed early the next morning and our clothes just didn’t smell washed whatsoever seems like no detergent was used at all so we had to go and get all our clothes washed again in our next destination. Also gave in a brand new white skirt to be washed which came back grey and there was no fixing it so had to be binned. -Huts are beautiful but personally for me a little too much as they were not fully sealed there is a lot of flies, mosquitos and geckos in the hut also.

The young inexperienced staff who were also not hygienic. And what we especially did not like was that on our last evening, when we were in a restaurant, our suitcases were searched in both our rooms and money was stolen from us. When we reported it, it was immediately clear who had done it. He later came to our door because he was of course afraid that we would report it to his boss. So dear people….pay close attention to your belongings here!!!

First of all, we had money go missing from our room — 400 AUD. After days of checking, we confirmed we hadn’t spent it and that someone had taken it. We later found out this isn’t the first time money has gone missing in this hotel. The rooms have safes boxes, but we didn’t use ours and still locked the room each time we left. We complained to the manager, but she didn’t offer a solution. So, please, keep your money in the safe. As for the rest, we stayed 11 nights at the hotel. It has a beautiful view, spacious rooms, excellent AC, a lovely pool, friendly staff as is typical in Indonesia, and a great location. The bad: The hotel seems recently opened (10/2024), and we noticed many things are unfinished or poorly done. For instance, the bathroom floor doesn’t drain well, so it was always flooded. The bathroom is open, which led to a rat living there, eating the soap, and leaving droppings everywhere. Twice, we found bird droppings (we assume) on our bed, despite keeping everything closed; animals still got in. The mosquitoes at night were unbearable, so we had to sleep every night covered in repellent and use spray. The stairs to the rooms are very steep, which should be noted. We definitely wouldn’t stay here again, as there are plenty of other options in Kuta for the same price.

The price/quality ratio just wasn't right. They were priced like a luxury hotel, but a lot of things were missing or off. A few- The shower was open to the bathroom and the drain was really far, so the bathroom was flooded with dirty water all the time. They also didn't come to clean unless you specifically asked. The bungalow had a lot of mosquitos and the ac was pointing exactly at our heads and blankets weren't provided so we were either freezing all night or way too hot if we shut the ac off. The porch outside didn't have a mattress or anything to sit on.

The place is beautiful, definitely designed to photograph well. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the pool was gorgeous and overlooking the ocean. Breakfast in the morning was nice too.

We really loved our stay here! It’s in a beautiful location. Really peaceful, and stunning rooms and so so clean!! Beautiful pool where we hung out all day. Also really near to some of the best restaurants we’ve come across on our travels and so near the beach. Literally the perfect place and location. Massive shout out to all the staff who were so lovely and accommodating. They really made our stay here , lovely people! The free breakfast is amazing also, really cannot fault this place and we are coming back in a week again because we loved the place and people so much
