Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaGood views overlooking Cennigan. Rooms were lovely, minimalist and clean. Staff welcomed us warmly and made the whole experience comfortable and easy Even going as far as to organize a cake for my partners birthday. Highly recommend this place, definitely one of the best hotels I've been to in a long time.

New ZealandStunning pool and view. That us the main asset of the place. The rooms were tidy and decent. The place itself is a bit tired. Towells were a bit old. But still clean. Staff were helpful. Food was average. Thus is on the opposite end if the island to ferry drop off and the roads are not good. If you're confident on a bike you will be okay.

MalaysiaThe journey towards the hotel is very bumpy. Roads should be done so the ride would be smooth, i dread the road by bike. It was super uncomfortable.
The hotel itself is very clean, and so is the room. The staff was very helpful and cheery, especially Puttu. He always had a smile, making us feel welcome almost every time we came out for breakfast or to take a stroll. The hotel overlooks Nusa Ceningan and the sea, which is quite beautiful and peaceful. Considering the hecticness of the small island, coming back to the villa feels very homey. Plus, i had a good sleep every night. the perfect escape from a busy life. They do provide bike services too!

AustraliaProperty has charm to it (not a bad thing)
Incredible views and quiet surrounding. So close to the Yellow Bridge which connects to Ceningan Island or boat taxi to Nusa Penida making it very ideal location wise. Villas are a beach lovers haven, with comfy bed and island vibes with an outdoor bathroom. Ample of sunshine to sun in and plenty of shade to cool down. Staff are very welcoming and accomodating!

SwitzerlandHard to get there the road is by far the bumpiest on the island. If you want to go around you need a scooter or a taxi. I would highly recommend to not get the scooter from the hotel (quality is very low)
The place is nice and the view is stunning. Breakfast was also okay even if some reviews said something different. If you need help with anything (snorkeling, transfer) before, during or after your stay everything is organized.

AustraliaAfter coming from accommodation in Uluwatu where staff were incredibly professional, helpful and available felt like the staff had much less care for your being there. Many times we were unable to find a staff member and when calling and messaging the reception number and messaging on booking.com we received no response after we had arrived. Previous reviews of a Kay who was wonderful no longer works there so there wasn’t the helpful nature from staff others had experienced in previous reviews. Wifi didn’t work in the rooms and only worked well near the pool if you were right near the front desk. Wifi shouldn’t be advertised with the property if it’s unavailable in the rooms. Road to accommodation incredibly bumpy and need to be a good driver to manage riding a scooter along that long strip to the accommodation. I would prefer to stay closer to the pain part of town next time rather than down that road.
The view was amazing! Comfortable bed. Room freshly painted. Pool was beautiful to swim in. Food was great. Staff allowed us into the room early due to us turning up quite early which was really kind. Food also wonderful at Dmas down the road, a lovely family restaurant highly to visit recommended if you stay here.

AustraliaThe location is excellent—tucked away with the best view overlooking the Yellow Bridge and the ocean. After spending a week in busy Canggu, it was a dream to relax for a couple of nights at Stardust. Bike rentals are available for 150k per day for a big bike, and many nearby restaurants offer free pick-up and drop-off services. Within walking distance, you’ll find a few good warungs, a spa, and mini-marts. We had the best frozen strawberry daiquiris of our trip here! The hotel is run by a lovely Swedish family who made every effort to make us feel at home. We spent many relaxing days by the pool and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

AustraliaOpen showers in bathrooms, the floors get really wet and take awhile to drain. No mosquito nets, would have preferred this as an option to the sprays provided.

United KingdomMost things were great. Not a place to be if you want to be in the thick of the action but it’s possible to walk within a few minutes to two surprisingly excellent and great value restaurants. And down to Yellow Bridge for day trips to Nusa Penida (5k each way on the ferry). Breakfasts on the small side - would have been great if fruit platter in particular was bigger.
Stunning setting, well decorated, amazing infinity pool, filter coffee on tap

Australia- Both the rooms we had were unfortunately close to the pool and were a bit loud, also the hotel dog howling for some time at about 3:00am was annoying. - Location is far from most things BUT very fun with a scooter and < 5 minutes this way. - No drinks or food at the hotel in the evening so eat out and hit the mini mart.
Putu very friendly and helpful every time we saw him. - Breakfast included with room is basic but good. - Pool view is amazing, as is the general view for the hotel perched on the cliff. - Scooter hire was affordable at 80k per day. - Beds were very comfortable. - Value for money.
