There can be quite a few steps - depending on where you are staying. I wouldn’t necessarily see it as a negative, but the days before we did trek to Sekumpul waterfall which had 490 steps. Then to add these steps - that you need to use everyone you enter or leave the hotel, just something to be mindful of.

A LOT of stairs to get to room so be prepared. Was particularly rough because it rained the whole time so things were slippery and nothing is covered.

Suenyo was mind-blowingly amazing. We had extended our Bali honeymoon and wanted somewhere magic for our last few days, and stumbled upon Suenyo and it has raised the standards for an holiday ever in future! Every single aspect went above and beyond: the staff, the architecture, the food, the massages, the views, even the resident kitty! We cannot rate this place highly enough - it was absolutely perfect.

There is construction work on the hill opposite the hotel which impacts the serenity and peacefulness of the location.

The biggest impression and shout-out goes to the staff - service levels are impeccable and their smiles were warming our days every day. Location is beautiful and architecture/facilities very unique experience.

One downside is the construction site nearby and the damages it has made to the surrounding jungle. Giving you less of the exclusivity with nature. Let's hope this finishes soon and the quietness will return to this beautiful place.

A place of happiness and connection to nature. You hide away from the world and relax in the beautifully crafted bungalow. The staff makes you feel special and keeps an eye on your wellbeing. Mila is an attentive host and talks with passion about her home land.

The rooms were beautiful but there were a few bugs inside. Maybe that’s to be expected in an Eco retreat. But I believe it could have been prevented.

Breakfast was one of the best we had in all of Bali. The rooms were stunning. The spa services were top notch. I booked the sacred couple ritual which was nearly 3 hours. The property is very near (15 mins) to popular places like Canggu and Luna beach club.

Nothing really, it is a great place. We kind of missed some common area where you can meet and chat with other travelers. Granted this is a more upscale place where tranquility and peace were put in the first place but it is always good to have place to meet new people and exchange some experiences - but hey this just us and maybe an idea for the future. Also some board games could be available - just a suggestion.

Amazing villas, great design and feel inside of it. All the details were thought of - starting from the houses themselves, through the rotating doors to the bamboo hangers - truly amazing. Super tranquil by the river and in the forest. The hosts and the service is superb. The food was great. Massages are superb - we had them everyday. A perfect place to relax and explore around and even visit the beaches (~20 minutes by scooter to Canggu beaches).
