Whilst the WiFi was available everywhere it was a little slow, a very minor point.

The hotel was excellent with an excellent room. The breakfast was great and tasty evening options. The staff were all very friendly including the owner who made time to speak with us. The room was very clean, and the bed very comfortable. The gym was also good.

The overall condition of the room/parts of hotel has a lot of potential. I think if the owners of the hotel invested in a reno or major maintenance of the entire resort it would be amazing, and only very minor training for some of the staff to lift their skill set taking the hotel to the next level. The fresh juices were watered down, wasn’t a fan of that.

The room we booked was the Ocean View Villa with Private infinity pool. The view of this place was amazing! We were placed on top of the resort, with views of the ocean and island. Driver is available with a phone call to the room (otherwise it is a bit of a walk). They offer a driving service within a 20min radius of hotel as well. From start to finish the service was 10/10 everyone was so helpful and accommodating, I felt at home. I special shoutout to Ardi and Haidir. Thank you for taking care of my husband and I on our honeymoon. They helped us so much with any issues we had. Haidir setup both the romantic dinner (food was delicious) and floating breakfast which made our stay that much more special. We even received a beautiful congratulatory arrangement in our room on the first day. We were so well taken care of. The location of the hotel is far from airport, but it is an island, and the best places are always hidden gems, the drive is so worth it. We went during rainy season I can only imagine it is even more beautiful during peak season. With nearby floating seafood restaurants and tour companies. The hotel made everything very easy for us, including cashing out.

property is aging. across the street from the ocean; I thought it was oceanfront. no entertainment around. very quiet and grinding poverty just outside the gate. luxury smack up against poverty; a lesson in have's and have-nots.

Restaurant personnel, Yusef and Niluh (and her husband Kokek). they were kind, asked good questions, and were attentive to our needs. Give them a 10 out of 10. Spa personnel and masseuses were also kind and professional; did a good job.

It is very far from everything, so you have to take the car to get to everywhere. And the transfer at the hotel is 3x so expensive as usual. We had a bad experience as well regarding this. I got a message in booking how much an airport transfer would cost (500.000idr) and when I texted them on WhatsApp (as requested) that we want the transfer the price has been increased to 600.000idr… when we wanted to go somewhere to eat outside the hotel, the receptionist simply said there is no other place and other people come to this restaurant too. I find it very rude, as our need wasn’t filled. We knew that there are restaurant to visit. Luckily we met a nice couple who had a local contact to go snorkeling so we saved 500.000idr not taking the hotels offer. I found the hotel prices ridiculous expensive compared to local prices. They were really focused on the tourists.

The beach is nice, but we were unfortunate to have dirty water in the sea with some rubbish. But it was after the rain so it maybe the reason.

The resort is huge and not crowded. The pool is very big. Staff is very attentive. It looks amazing in the evening with all the lights. We enjoyed the spa!

We had the Villa with a private pool. Everything could be cleaner, the glas doors where not easy to open. I think some rooms might need a small makover.

During my stay at Sundancer hotel in Lombok,I had a truly unique and memorable experience,The room were incredibly clean,cozy,and had stunning views of Lombok pristine nature.one love aspect I loved most was how peaceful and serene atmosphere was. BREAKFAST: the breakfast food was totally awful every day - cold uncooked eggs, rubberised pastries that a knife can't cut through, coffee that is literally undrinkable (and we've been travelling around Indonesia for 2 months now so have plenty of experience) RESTAURANT: In general, the restaurant food is poor standard, though some meals were good. Hit and miss. ATTITUDE: The staff often were not particularly friendly - not unfriendly but just not very interested or attentive. So unusual in Indonesia. We felt that the resort simply needs a new Manager who is fully involved and interested and takes good care of the staff and pays attention to detail. PRESENTATION: the pool cleaning equipment stored right in the lovely view of the pool from the restaurant and sun loungers. there is a screen available but it wasn't used to hide the equipment from view. The rubbish under/behind the stairs to our unit, dirty dishes, a portacot with a duvet dumped in it, heaps of beer bottles and just general untidiness. The abandoned suites in the next level up along the hillside - overgrown and looking creepy and ugly. Again, part of the view from the pool and restaurant. 5 STARS?: It's expected that a 5 star resort would provide a hairdryer in every room. The Sundancer Beach Club across the road played loud inappropriate music the entire time. No wonder they had very few customers. Lots of rubbish in the water and on the beach.

ROOM: The "2 bedroom Suite with ocean view" was beautiful, spacious, well furnished with super comfortable beds & pillows and a lovely large terrace with a view over the pool and small views of the sea on each side of the huge restaurant roof in front. The full kitchen in the suite would have been wonderful if there had been any kitchen equipment to use with it. Bathrooms were very spacious, plenty of hot water but low pressure. No hairdryers available. There are alot of stairs to get from the reception/restaurant/pool area up to the suites and then ours was the top floor so more stairs. POOL: The pool is fabulous - large with deep and shallow areas and interesting design. It was very clean and well maintained. There were not enough sun loungers or sun umbrellas as in all resorts. FOOD: The restaurant has a good menu but sadly the food that comes out of the kitchen is very hit and miss - sometimes it was great (eg a couple of burgers) and you could order the same meal on 3 days and have 3 totally different experiences. BREAKFAST: The breakfasts were TRULY TERRIBLE, cold uncooked eggs, badly cooked other items, pastries that a knife couldn't cut through, totally undrinkable coffee. Unfortunately, there was nowhere else to go and because there were no pots, pans, plates or anything else in the suites full kitchen, we couldn't cook our own.

The music at the restaurant area was much too loud and, while they agreed to lower it somewhat, it came back to the previous volume after a few minutes. Probably company policy... It really spoiled the time I spent there.

Unfortunately, it wasn't clean. We had a room on the first floor, and under our stairs, there was a terrible mess—empty beer bottles, plates, and some cartons. I thought it was left over from cleaning after the previous guests, but it wasn't cleaned up the entire time we were there. The breakfasts were really poor, not tasty at all. It seems like the staff doesn't put much effort into their work. There's literally nothing next to the hotel, and getting a taxi is a problem. On our first night, we wanted to go out for something to eat; the staff told us it was nearby, but it turned out to be a 25-minute walk down a dark road with our kids. Fortunately, the restaurant had an extra scooter and took the kids back one by one. The price of this hotel does not match the standard at all.

This hotel has already seen its glory days. It has a beautiful pool and nice, spacious rooms. However, they are in need of some renovations. You have to cross the street to get to the beach. The massages are wonderful.
