Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyThe roof was leaking and it had a storm when i stayed there. The beds were wet, so it was very uncomfortable sleeping there. The bathroom is moldy and smells terrible, i didn't dare to use it. You might as well book the cheaper tent and use the shared toilet. Overall i think the price is too high for what was offered.
The location is amazing, such a beautiful view that alone makes it worth to come back.

MalaysiaThere was no key lock for our room. I did ask about the key, yet they were not able to provide it.
The view was absolutely stunning and made me feel like I was hiking real mountains! The trekking track was full of surprises, which turned into an adventure treat. There was a narrow path that felt a bit scary, but it added to the thrill. I'm glad they don’t sell alcohol—it helps keep the experience safe and enjoyable!

Czech RepublicThe mattress was a bit worn. We couldn’t find the accomodation for a moment because there is bad signal and the maps don’t work there so good. The way to the accomodation is pretty steep so be careful whan sou want to get there for your own.
We felt there like in a mountain paradise, there are beautiful views and you are really in the middle of the nature. It’s perfect experience to stay in a tent and have a beautiful view to the stars. The food was also delicious!

IndonesiaThe journey to the location was very challenging. So many extreme climbs. The road is narrow. You can find cliffs on the right side and hills on the left side. Our car has to be parked at down the hill and the hotel staff picked us up to go to our room uphill by motorcycle.
The view from our rooms were amazing. It was a very beautiful sunrise can be seen right from our room doors. The host, Ibu Eka is a very nice lady and very helpful. She made nasi goreng for our breakfast. Thank you.

New ZealandToilets were a bit of a walk in the dark but that's camping. Much better than most camp Toilets.
Fun adventure just getting to the campsite on a scooter and amazing views right from bed. Some interesting bugs hanging round at night but they never made it inside the tent. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was really good!

JapanHot water stopped while taking bath in the morning. There were dirty coffee cups in our room.
It was a camping site and hence the location was perfect. The staff were very helpful and accessible. The view was fantastic. Staff helped us with setting up the fire for barbecue. Owner provided us with extra blankets and arranged for vegetarian breakfast.

SingaporeNo warm bathing water, but the owner offered us nice, warm tea. Location requires 5 min of climb, of which some parts are steep.
Great view, nice weather, clean and warm hospitality. Very thoughtfully placed taps. Uninterrupted electricity and getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Good coordination in transportation and activities.

AustriaSimple but good. If you love nature and an amazing view (+ amazing sunrise)- go for it.
The view is really amazing (that was what we hoped for)and we liked the atmosphere of this place very much. Good vibes and friendly and helpful family. We made a sunset trekking tour to the top of Gunung Batur - so great. The place was not so hard to find but the camp is a 5-10 min walk away from the street. So we called them in order to find the right way to get there. The owners were helpful with managing our bags. We really liked being away from too touristy places and experience this camp.

NetherlandsQuite an adventure to reach the place. The location is rather remote and the roads leading up are steep and poorly maintained. Beware with rain and nightfall. Don’t expect any luxury, that’s not what you’re paying for.
Wonderful place for outdoor lovers and the bit more adventurous type. The location is beautiful with view of Agung, mount and lake Batur and the ocean. On a clear day you can see the sun rise in the east. Basic facilities, and the possibility for a barbecue or a campfire. The owners are friendly and make a basic meal for a fair price. It felt intimate to be a guest at this little town up on the hill. The people built the camp themselves, carrying up the materials, offering guests one of Bali’s best views.

The excellent people, amazing view, magical atmosphere! one of the best experience of my life. You don't need to go Mount Batur . You already will wake up in the middle of purple rain(sunrise ) and great weather. almost 270 degree view . Great staff good food and affordable price! Thank you so much!

GermanyThe road up to the place is catastrophic. If you’re coming by car, it’s almost impossible to make it up when it’s raining, as the tires slip. The pickup service costs 25k by scooter from the bottom of the serpentines to the place (and vice versa), which is necessary if you cannot make it up! Quite pricey. The neighbors are noisy, and the breakfast was dull.
The view is beautiful - you can see Mount Agung, Lake Batur, and Trunyan/Abang.
