AustraliaAll good with the hotel. The lack of response by Booking.com to my stranding in Surabaya, due to the cancellation of my flight by Lion Air, was not good at all.
The staff were very helpful by extending my stay, when my flight with Lion Air was cancelled 12 hours before the flight. One day after the cancellation I have still not received any support from Booking.com or Lion Air.

Indonesia1. Closed from the mosque which is very noisy when adzan calling, especially for Subuh till 6 AM 2. AC can not cover the room as it's only 1 PK for such a big room 3. No AC in public area (corridor, lobby) and lifts 4. No hairdryer in the room, you have to borrow it from HK, and they will take it back after 1 hour 5. Towels are not clean (spot) 6. Window shades can not cover the light from outside 7. Need more lighting in bathroom and on the table

NetherlandsIt’s literally located next to the mosque. We had the corner “suite”, with views on both sides. But then we also realized the mosque was below our window. They start chanting at 03:00AM so that wasn’t really pleasant. If we’d known about this before, we surely wouldn’t book it.

United KingdomAlthough it's clean if you look closely the hotel looks worn and older in places. I was told I had been upgraded to a superior room. If that's the case it was pretty basic with unstocked mini bar and views of scaffolding out of both windows.
Good location by the river. The breakfast was good with good choice of Indonesian food. Pool was clean with good views.
