Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Even closer to the airport than where I stayed on my way in, a bit more expensive but worth it. Very nice room with balcony, quiet. Didn't see much of the hosts but they seemed agreeable.

Location is just absolutely perfect especially when you have a flight to catch as it just a 5 min drive to the airport, plus the beach, bars, restaurants, etc. are all just a walking distance from the hotel. The room in general is just comfortable, clean, and quiet.. AC could improve though. The staff are giving good Bali vibes and hospitality. Suksmaa to the Surya Inn team.

The bed made extremely loud creeking noise every time that we moved which woke me up a lot. As a result that was pretty uncomfortable & needs to be updated. There was no staff at the reception desk at check out time so we just had to leave the keys at the desk as our grab had arrived and we needed to go.
We stayed here for just one night after a night flight. The place was fine, nothing too exciting. Good for one night. It was clean & really close to the airport which is what we needed. There was no noise of air traffic also. Not a far drive from main Kuta area, 15 min bike ride to Beachwalk mall. Easy to get a grab from this location. The grounds were actually lovely & felt very Balinese.

Apart from early wifi issues everything was good
Nice inn in Tuban. Stayed 3 nights and added one more. Good size room. Bed comfortable. Good pillows. Wifi initially not so good in room 202 so staff moved me to 204. Wifi was good. Bathroom ok size. Hot water. Quiet at night. Staff welcoming and friendly. Only 6 minutes walk from airport There is breakfast/lunch restaurant onsite. Tv had English movies.

I only stayed one night at the Surya Inn. My connecting flight wasn't until the next day and I was looking for a hotel near the airport. You just have to fight your way through all the people trying to get you a taxi at the airport and as soon as you leave the airport grounds you're almost at the hotel. That way you save on taxis etc. It's about a 15-minute walk. And it's not far to the mall either. There are plenty of supermarkets nearby and the tourist center with lots of restaurants is a 10-15-minute walk away. My room even had a great terrace. The weather just wasn't that great. I didn't use any of the food or additional services.

Everything was great! 👌
10mins Walk to airport but still quiet !! Tons of food options around from high-end Indian restaurants to plastic chair-Ayam places. Lippo mall is also about 5-6 mins walk. Clean rooms, good power in the shower, toiletries in the bathroom, coffee - tea, kettle etc. Weird extra but maybe other European fellows will get it: they have Good quality toilet paper not the regular single-sheets you get everywhere in Indo :) Very friendly host who changed my room as the first one was smelling of cigarettes, second room was perfect. I was also allowed to leave my suitcase there for 2X days, thank you ever so much for that! (I only stayed overnight before a flight)

A short visit - no issues.
We arrived late and got delayed at the airport. A staff mwmber was there to greet us at 1.30am, booked us in and took our breakfast order. Breakfast arrived at 8.00 as we had to leave at 8.30, so a very brief stay. The room was clean, the aircon cold and the location quiet. Very well located for the airport.

We booked 2 rooms on the ground floor, yet given upstairs, and we traveled with 2 elderlies. Limited parking space. One of the AC didn't work well so it was still hot.
Very close to the airport, 10 minutes walk. Plenty of places for food and coffee in walking distance. The room was clean and quite cozy.
