Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe snorkelling tour we booked through reception was a little chaotic with a very long (and late) small bus transfer that picked up and dropped off folk in various locations on route to the ferry to Nusa Penida. Ended up spending a large part of the day on transfers. Snorkelling tour of Nusa Penida itself was rushed from one spot to the next and the boat was very full. The coral reefs are stunning though.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely peaceful accommodation with great swimming pools. The room was large with gorgeous teak furniture. We had a stunning semi outdoor shower. Made you feel like you're right in the middle of nature. Used reception for scooter hire to get around, very reasonable price. Access to the Titi Batu sports club next door offers a great gym and squash court.

IndiaWe were a family of 3 who stayed in the 1BR suite 'Tuesday' here in Jan 2024. The suite had ceilings that were probably 15-20 feet high, the woodwork throughout was fantastic, the bed was comfortable, and everything inside the suite was perfectly done up. The design of the entire place felt like nature was extending herself indoors. The staff were always very courteous and helpful. The restaurant by the pool served fresh foods throughout and made each item really well. Would gladly stay here again.

AustraliaTwo suggestions for this lovely hotel: 1: I would suggest staff walk around a clean a bit plus turn off lights at night near the river view rooms. We ordered food in the afternoon and it was still there the next day covered in ants. 2: put curtains at the top of the windows - it’s too bright with the lights outside the rooms (I had to go out and find the switches) and it’s bright in the morning.
We stayed in the river view room and it was great to see the jungle. The pool area was lovely and the restaurant is amazing. Beds comfortable, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast included and the rest of the menu is delicious! Congratulations to the chef here! Great wifi and a desk to do work in the room. We will stay in a villa next time as they looked lovely. Location is in quiet area with some good restaurants around. Be aware of the steps going down to the hotel (wasn’t an issue for us).

AustraliaOur 2 bedroom villa with pool was absolutely beautiful! The pool was perfect and beds super comfy. The restaurant was conveniently located within the property with room service available. We enjoyed every single food order we placed, and were lucky enough to have free breakfast included in our booking. Access to the Titi Batu health club was also included, which we enjoyed with the kids every day. The staff at Surya Kembar were amazing and extremely helpful with arranging drivers and attending to our needs.

AustraliaWe had a slight difficulty with ordering food due to food allergy (nuts), but that was a challenge with eating in all of the restaurants, not just at the villa. Often, they use peanuts in the sauce or in the cooking process. We would recommend you print out an allergy card stating in Indonesian language what you are allergic to, and be sure to have your epipen and antihistamine ready just in case. One day my child had accidentally eaten a baked scone that contained a trace of nuts in the dough, so we took one tablet of loratadine as a precaution and we observed her for the whole day, and she was ok. The restaurant staff was very good to have told us about it, because I ate the scone myself and couldn’t taste any nuts in it. It’s not a complaint, just pointing it out for other travellers with allergies :)
Our private pool was sparkling clean and refreshing to swim in, just be aware it is deep for younger children (approx 1.6m) so definitely needs close supervision for safety. They do switch off the pool filters at night (so it’s quiet) and it comes back on at 8am to filter all the leaf litter - though it is still fine to swim amongst the leaves and petals! We also loved how the kids room also had their own ensuite, and each kid got their own spacious single bed. There were electric plugs in insect repellents in all the rooms, so we rarely had any mosquitoes inside. The daily house keeping service was squeaky clean. Just to point out if you got young toddlers, the rooms are not internally connected, so you might want to bring a baby monitor camera. We booked our stay with breakfast included and that was a good decision. One morning we had to leave very early at 6:30am for a day trip to Nusa Penida, so the kitchen staff prepared a takeaway breakfast for us the night before, and put it in our fridge ready to go for our excursion. Their laundry service is excellent, we got all our dirty wet clothes folded and dried in one day, it only cost $1.50 AUD per kg. I was so happy! The villa allows guests free access to the health club next door, they have a huge swimming pool and very nice deck chairs to relax on. We were lucky to get a discount on the price because it was during the wet season in January. We struggled a bit in the outdoor heat and high humidity, but the air conditioning and fans kept us cool and sleeping well through the warm nights.

United KingdomNeither of the bedrooms had a mirror in them and the second bedroom didn’t have a desk/drawers/dressing table so there was nowhere to put on make-up/dry hair except in the bathroom which wasn’t air conditioned.

SingaporeThe aircon is positioned in the living room area far from the bed and the air flow is not directed towards the bed so it took hours to get the bed comfortable to sleep. The room had a outdoor shower area with its own small garden and the garden area needs a refresh
Stayed at garden pool view deluxe room which was huge and nicely designed. The breakfast was delicious with an a la carte menu and fresh made juices. The hotel has a very interesting layout with a nice paddy farm within its premises. Staff are very warm and extremely friendly.

AustraliaLocation wise it was a bit hard to get into central ubud. Online gojeks and taxis can’t get into the area as it’s only local transport so it can be hard to get around unless you pre Organise.
Beautiful big room. Huge comfy bed. Really easy checkin and out process. Would’ve liked to use the nearby facilities as they sounded great also.
