Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThat the first two days there were pupils from two classes. So they occupied both swimming pools more or less and they were shouting like all the children do when they are enthusiastic. When I mentioned it; the only reaction was: I am sorry. I would appreciated it when they mentioned it during the booking process. Or they could say we are so sorry for the inconvenience we would like to offer you a meal in our restaurant. That would be a good step. Now I give a note depending on this but in fact it is worth a higher note.

NetherlandsPlace is outdated, super bad maintained! We booked a 4 bedroom villa and we were shocked about the state of the villa's, really outdated stuff, some lights not working, musquito nets full of dead insects, doors not locking well, also the villa locations are located far away from the beach and restaurant. Checkin was also disappointing, on bookingcom it said checkin was at 13:00, we arrived at 13:00 but were told the villa was not ready yet, had to wait 2 hours.
The only nice things here is the beach.

United StatesWe felt like the bungalow was quite dark and it was not clean. The shower drain was very gross and the bath mats and floors were sandy. The lighting in the outdoor bathroom was just too dim.The bungalow needs a deep cleaning and a refresh. The last time we stayed we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet. This time the breakfast was just not good. Cold poached eggs and strange Avocado toast.
The gardens were beautiful and being able to snorkel right from the beach was great.

SwitzerlandThe house needed extra deep cleaning - there were dirty spots all over the lamps, art, even electric sockets. The chairs, chaiselongues were quite stained too. I’ve never seen so many mosquitoes as inside our house and bathroom area. Luckily the hotel staff had provided anti-mosquito repellent, but there was no net to allow us to aerate without getting unwanted guests. Unfortunately these 2 issues had high impact on our comfort.
Great location, good amenities and setting for a relaxed vacation. Nice personnel, good dining option at the hotel right at the beach.

SerbiaTaman Sari is not the same as earlier. I guess pandemic make it suffer and now I feel that they try to earn more and save more money on my reservation. No good internet. No blankets in the room. Very poor breakfast included. Only 0,5l water a day included.
The location is amazing and the territory is still awesome. It's very convenient to go to Ijen volcano from here of dive on Mejangan.

FranceThe hotel has connected TV but when we arrived, it had not been connected properly. The staff had to come afterwards to fix it. Also, the electric light is weak and at night it is difficult to see what is on the table. Our bungalow had some empty space between the walls and the roof. This not only make air conditioning not as efficient as it could, but the mosquitoes get through. The breakfast is OK but not great. No pastries. You have to pay additional fee for regular coffee. The fruit platter is limited and always the same. During our stay, it was the season of rambutan, mangoustan, mango, but we never had any of those local fruit. But the worse is the service. Actually, the problem seems to be more in the kitchen. There is plenty of staff to serve, but they are waiting for the dishes to come out of the kitchen. Once we had to wait over 45 minutes. We gave some laundry to clean, but the laundry returned was not ours. During one day, the toilet flush did not work, the next day it came back. Finally, this is not a bad point, but something you have to be aware of: - the bungalows are each surrounded by a pond. You access to the bungalow by walking on some sort of concretes plots. My wife has difficulty walking, so the hotel built a special wooden bridge over the plots to cross, and it was OK. No access if you have a wheelchair. - this hotel accept dogs
The Pemuteran beach is really excellent and the hotel has a range of trees providing shadow to the hosts. The hotel has rooms and bungalows in a nice garden, with a good distance between bungalows. The hotel provides beach towels.

United StatesTerrible bed and shower. The room was old and not well kept up. Mold on the ceiling. No hot water at all, though I guess that was just a problem when we were there. I booked a queen bed but it was just two rock hard bumpy twins pushed together. Horrible. I assume part of the problem that I used booking.com because all the hotels seem to give you the worst room they have when you book through any service, Agoda etc. also our room was close to the road and very noisy but the ones lower down in the ravine must be quiet.
Gorgeous grounds and friendly staff.

United Kingdomfood options were a little limited as the same menu for lunch and dinner - especially for a vegetarian. And the prices were a bit expensive for what you could get in other areas of Bali. it’s mostly just resorts in the area so can’t really walk around too easily to get snacks/ other food. Also the costs for excursions and travel were a lot higher than quoted elsewhere. There wasn’t as much effort put into the room as other hotels too.
The resort it self was in a beautiful setting, and the room and outdoor bathroom were lovely. The location was great for diving and exploring the National park. Definitely recommend diving/snorkelling. The bar and pool area was lovely. Spa was also nice

AustraliaThe spa was terrible. They had no idea how to give a massage or facial. An 8year old would have done better. And so expensive for what it was. I politely let them know and they tried to charge me more by adding on treatments I didn’t have. Food in the restaurant was well below average. And restaurant staff couldn’t understand much English which was hard.
The hotel was nearby nice places to eat. On the beach

ItalyThe rooms were not particularly clean and also at the restaurant it feels like they are not ready for the season yet due to lack of enough staff that speaks English. At the reception they were not particularly helpful in giving thorough information regarding activities and when asked about visiting the Menjangan park they gave a very high price for a 20min shuttle service without providing alternatives(500k Rp when we paid 650k for a 4h taxi ride to get to Pemuteran from Ubud) We visited other 4, 4/5* hotels in Bali and this was the most expensive with the least amount of service.
Very nice location on the beach, great view and spacious rooms.
