Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaEverything was good however as there is always a scope of improvement therefore we would suggest little more variety in food. Especially now a days a lot of INDIANS travelling so some options for them (INCL. VEGETARIAN) will really help to keep everyone happy.
We got the rooms just next to the pool which was really well located, peaceful and staff was very very co-operative incl. they agreed to keep our luggage for a day especially when they don't have such big store room leaves a msg their willingness to support the customer.

AustraliaOriginally we booked the deluxe room, which was a hotel-like room in the underneath of the property, it was quite damp and worse for wear, with slight cracks in the walls and some moulding in the bathroom and wall corners, it wasn’t totally horrible and is expected to have issues like this in this wet region but due my my personal health issues it was to risky for our long stay, The staff were incredibly accommodating and provided us with an upgrade to the suites which were amazing, very clean and well maintained. So I would absolutely recommend the suite villas for this hotel.
The location was perfect for those looking for a quieter experience, amazing jungle views from all the rooms. The restaurant was delicious and well priced. All the staff were attentive, helpful and very kind. In house spa is a bonus.

NetherlandsThe staff were absolutely brilliant. Excellent service, very welcoming and friendly. Very peaceful place with lovely pools, very quiet and not far from Ubud. Room was lovely, cleaned every day and the served breakfast and dinners were very good too. They offer some free tours like a morning rice field walk and service to Ubud center. Highly recommend the spa as well! Such a lovely place to stay in Bali and would love to come back another time!

GermanyThe property overall was great, I just think that the tub in the room needed some repairs. It had signs of wear & tear but that is just me nitpicking. Nonetheless, I LOVED my stay and want to visit again.
It is a beautiful oasis to relax and enjoy. It is just as the pictures. Also, the stay was amazing to me and made my birthday extra special.

United KingdomWe were asked to order breakfast the next day, but we just didn’t want to do that as we had no idea what we wanted to eat that day let alone “tomorrow”. However we found the food was cold when it arrived. We booked a few tours with them, but they are just the cost of the travel only - you still have to pay for entrance tickets to each location. If you get one of the staff drivers, they are the best! If they use a third party- not so good! Please always check as they ruined the day/tour for us as we didn’t have time to eat anywhere all day and then had the cheek to ask for more money due to them being stuck in traffic!
The property was really nice - exactly as the pictures. The staff are amazing though and so friendly. They do everything to make your stay comfortable. In our first night we had a couples romantic dinner which was amazing. We tried both western and Indonesian set menu and both were really good. The music was amazing.

GermanyThe BBQ was not what we expected, was only ok for that price. There was a variety of meat, but not much for vegetarians- even mentioned it before- and for chicken only big „real“ chicken wings.
We liked the food and the excellent cooking. The staff is great and the view amazing right into the rainforest. The room is spacious and the Massage also really relaxing and great.

BulgariaI expected more from the food. There were a few really minor issues with the bathroom, the terrace, but overall it's good.
The hotel is very nice and calm. It is 30 minutes away from Ubud and you must have transport. There is a shop 200 m away. Nice scenery and polite staff. I didn't use the SPA but it looked good. Very large and comfortable beds.

BelgiumPerfumes in room should be removed; selection of breakfast options could be streamlined; additional measures to secure safety of children on the terraces (inside and outside of room) would be welcomed.
The room and breakfast exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed the well-lit bedroom, equipped with a spacious bathroom and terrace. Breakfast is tasty (a la carte) with plenty of fresh options. The views from the hotels are stunning and I appreciated being removed from the crowdiness of Ubud. The afternoon tea a nice extra and my wife loved the 15-minute massage

ItalyThis resort is quite isolated so had to take taxis to go everywhere. Not great for little kids with all the stairs (to reach our room we had to take at least ~20 stairs) with a pram. The smell of humidity in the room. Cold water in the big pool.
The best thing was the staff! Exceptional, helpful, so kind and joyful with our little one! We loved the massages at the resort, and a big king bed as well as the size of the room, very big with a nice view! We appreciated that the breakfast was not a buffet but rather a beautifully created dish (and delicious fruit smoothies) served at the table with no wastes.

The view is amazing! Its so serene and peaceful. Idk about the others here but their food was great! For asian tastebuds, indonesian cuisine is 💯. Also everyone is friendly and helpful. I also liked how they have activities scheduled everyday.

AustraliaHonestly, you get what you pay for so expect just that. We felt the hotel has seen better days. The maintenance could be better and the room facilities too. We had no hair drier in our room which my partner was a bit annoyed about, no glasses in the bathroom for rinsing and no bar food. They do provide daily water though which is good. The safe for keeping your possessions locked away wasn’t actually screwed down or attached to anything, one could just pick it up and walk away so we didn’t even use it. The shuttle could really do with extra run times which would allow for better flexibility. There really isn’t much to do here besides the swimming pool or you can pay extra for Yoga or massages but they’re not cheap. The food at the restaurant was OK but not great. Lastly, the photos on Booking are definitely better than reality. I think that’s important to mention but in saying that, I wouldn’t say the hotel is bad. It is good enough for a short stay. Perhaps some flowers or greens in the hallway and the rooms would make a big difference.
The hotel is very affordable and good value for money. Has a nice quiet atmosphere surrounded by nature. The staff were nice and helpful. There is a free shuttle to high goes to Ubud and back once a day leaving at 10am and coming back at 4pm. It’s also very close to the famous Tirta Empul Temple. We stayed at the Deluxe valley view room and the view was indeed very nice and relaxing. The room was fairly clean and cosy and the bed very comfy. There was also lots of storage space. The swimming pools are very small but enough to cool you down on a hot day.

AustraliaThe food was very average. The buffet breakfast didn't have many options and some of the food (ie. Fresh fruit) was sitting there for too long and got covered in ants. The food from the kitchen was not very good, re-heated, tasteless or not cooked all the way through. In our room there was a constant noise during the day from the pool as we were right underneath it.
Comfortable, very nice and accomodating staff, great facilities, clean, and felt very Balinese. Quiet and relaxing.

ItalyThe common pool is not that big as it seems on the website. Pay attention, a lot of activities that appear on the website are not really offered by the structure: for instance, yoga classes. We received so many calls in the morning asking us if we were joining the breakfast, but 40/45 minutes before the breakfast ends, ending up to being waken up every time by these calls. Not only for this, but in general we received too many calls, some quite disturbing. Rooms are overall clean, but the pillows outside are super dirty. There is not that kind of attention. If you are going to the Gili Islands, they can definitely help you getting the cab and the boat tickets, but you will end up paying much more and losing a lot of time than doing Grab+Buying tickets there. We took this group van, spending 2h in the traffic, and they take you only tickets for fast boats, which are quite dangerous sometimes (our lost the engine in the middle of the ocean, and we had to go back to the port).
The rooms with the private pool are really cool, super big and the space outside is really enjoyable. The staff is helpful, but you have to ask questions to different people, because everyone will give you different answers. Opportunity to rent motorbikes since the location is not central. It is close to main sites, and we loved the fact that it was not in the middle of the Ubud traffic.
