The wifi was unstable but could be because of the weather that wasn’t great during our stay. A bit far from any warung/restaurant if you don’t have a scooter but if you do, you can reach the restaurant areas in less than 5 mins.

You’re on top of the hill which gives you a very nice view on the ocean. Very peaceful and quiet, rooms are clean and well maintained. The swimming pool is nice and the staff maintain it clean. Staff is also very kind and friendly.

The road to get there is messy

Nice place, the bungalow is comfortable, except for the bathroom that gets flooded when you take a shower (no slope). The bed is very comfortable, and the AC was welcome as it was very hot. Staff is friendly, so I would recommend it, just know it is far from everything.

The accommodation is located on a higher elevation compared to sea level, and reaching it required riding a scooter up a rough dirt road. However, it was also possible to get there on foot if preferred. The property is situated on Nusa Ceningan, and renting a scooter is a great option to explore the island or to cross the Yellow Bridge, which connects Ceningan to Nusa Lembongan for further exploration.

The host was absolutely wonderful! It was a very friendly and welcoming family. The accommodation was spotless, and every time we went out, they cleaned our room meticulously. The entire property was very well-maintained, and the staff was always ready to assist with anything we needed. During our stay, we rented a scooter directly from the property, which was incredibly convenient. Additionally, when I needed help with my tickets and transportation, they were more than willing to assist. Overall, an exceptional experience, and I would highly recommend this place!

Scooter access required if you have a lot of travelling planned, it's a long walk from yellow bridge. Scooter hire available from Villa and staff happy to help with organising taxi service.

Super helpful staff made our trip a breeze. A little off the beaten track makes it nice and quiet with a good view of the ocean from the villas. Scooter rental available and staff always happy to oblige requests for transport and information about the area. Had a great time!

In the bathroom some mice were leaving droppings from the roof. Nothing much can be done about that and they did clean it in the mornings.

Just too far off the beaten track for me but in saying that, I'd still have a night or two here agn but would come better prepared with fruit & snacky things.

Everything apart from the isolation & bad access if you want to walk anywhere - the road up to villa is like a goat track & very pot-holed. The family were beautiful & the wee villa was next-level wonderful. My favourite accomm in Bali (apart from the isolation as above ...). Pool was wonderful, villa located very high up so a great view & amazng sunsets. Seeing seat, sun loungers all great. If u you want to just get away & chill can't recommend it enough. Take snacks etc as only a basic warung with not much in it close by. No massages within walking distance altho they will take you on scooter. So clean & every need catered for in your room.

Beautiful picturesque views with gorgeous pool facilities and loungers, comfortable and clean rooms (best kept room we have stayed in Bali), welcoming and helpful staff (went above and beyond, nothing was ever a bother - so friendly and pleasant), enjoyed dinner here 2/4 nights and the food was excellent. We stayed at Tatak Bunut for three weeks, and it was an amazing experience! The wonderful family that owns and operates the place went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The property is perched high on a hill, offering breathtaking views of the sea and Bali's main island from our room. The sunsets were stunning. Breakfast was delicious and just the right amount for us. They offer a small selection of cocktails and food at very reasonable prices. There are also two nearby restaurants, both with equally stunning views. I love walking and the hill kept me fit, but we also rented a scooter from them for convenience. Tatak Bunut is a peaceful and beautiful local gem that we will definitely return to. I can't recommend it highly enough!

The sunset views from the property are absolutely stunning! We enjoyed sitting on our veranda watching the sun go down. Previous reviews were raving about the banana pancakes for breakfast and they did not disappoint! Please note that you do need a motorbike in order to get around, the property is a bit further from the main areas. You can easily rent one at the property.

ABSOLUTLEY beautiful clean shower was great! Room was cleaned everyday! WAN and his lovely family were fabulous!! Every morning he would take me down the hill to ceningan then at night he would come pick me up great service!! The food was yummy!! We will definitely be going back to stay!!! The roosters make themselves heard quite early in the morning/night (...I think at a bit off the beaten track often in Bali are roosters). With earplugs it wasn't really a problem for us. However, therefore we could enjoy a peaceful and warm-hearted place away from the crowds.

The host was very helpful, very friendly, and always willing to help. You immediately take him to your heart. ...and he deserves the same kindness and respect in my opinion ;-) The accommodation is clean and well-kept and you can sleep well. There is air conditioning and a refrigerator. You can also eat right there and it tastes good. The last stretch of road is a little difficult for inexperienced scooter drivers, but it was no problem for me - a little adventurous. We would definitely come back.

Probably the best place you can stay in all of Bali. The host is the greatest person we have ever met. He helped us with everything, making us feel special.
