We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. SingaporeThe only (minor) complaint that we have is that our pool and outdoor terrace was constantly littered with leaves and twigs from the forest that abuts the resort. This was understandable as our villa was located closest to the forest.
Tejaprana Bisma is a cosy resort - comprising 26 villas - that is nestled in a quiet corner of bustling Ubud. We stayed 4D3N for a couple’s get-away and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was indeed our oasis of calm and tranquility amidst the sea of chaos of downtown Ubud…traffic jams, vehicle fumes, blaring horns, lots of tourists and stifling daytime heat. This juxtaposition is evident the moment you step into the resort and are greeted with an overwhelming sense of quiet peacefulness. The layout of the resort was thoughtfully planned to take advantage of the hilly terrain with each villa offering different views over the adjacent valley. Our villa was very spacious and we loved that we had our own outdoor terrace and private plunge pool. Our space felt private and exclusive even though the villas adjoin each other. Being located next to the Monkey Forest, we were warned to keep our doors closed at all times… and some reviews also mentioned visitations by monkeys but in our time here, we only spotting a single monkey outside our villa on our first day. The breakfast at the resort’s Kalyana Restaurant was excellent with a wide ala carte spread to choose from. We had originally planned to try the breakfasts at a couple of cafes in town but decided against this as what was available in town was also on the menu at the resort (plus our stay included breakfast). If you happen to be at the resort on a Friday night, I highly recommend having dinner at Kalyana Restaurant as you get to be entertained by a Balinese dance performance too. The highlight of our stay was no doubt the spa treatments at the resort’s Pejamata Spa. We had two treatments while we were there - the Signature Massage and the Deep Relaxation Ritual with warm stone massage. Under the seasoned hands of our masseuse, we could feel the stress and tension melt away. Highly recommended! A quick mention about the location of the resort in relation to the rest of Ubud.

AustraliaThis is not a negative comment about the hotel But it is at the very end of a street Which actually adds to why the hotel is so awesome and private and why we got visited by the monkeys. However if you are renting a car or need a car to come pick you up the traffic down this street is absolutely hectic. We hired a bike and that was perfect for us and worked well.
It was absolutely beautiful. I even enjoyed being visited by the monkeys in the morning. Such a beautiful Hotel with amazing and friendly staff. We only needed to mention our room number the first night after that the staff remembered our room number and our names and greeted us by name every time we walked passed. Just the little attention to detail was so appreciated. The pool was amazing and the privacy in our room was so good too. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The location was great for us and we really enjoyed the walk into town.

TurkeyThe transport to the airport. After the great experience with the full day tour (8 hours, 1.100.000 idr) with a comfortable and spacious car and a great driver (shoutout to Angga), we decided to book a transport to the airport (which is usually 2 hours, and 600.000 idr) with the expectations of great professionalism of the full day tour, but when i saw the car, my expectations were shattered. It was an old and small car which gave my legs pain throughout to the trip to airport ( i am 186 cm). The driver was not professional at all. He didn't check the map for traffic even once. I tried to give a couple directions but i quit afterwards because he was just driving us to the traffic. It took us 2 hours and 40 min, and would probably took more than 3 hours if i didn't give some directions. We couldn't enjoy the scenery because we had to look at the navigation all the time worrying if we would make it in time. And also he mumbled some song from the radio all the time eventhough we mentioned we liked the quiet. The stress and fatigue this transport gave us, were carried to the our 17 hours back to home flight, and it was not pleasant. I think they are working with local taxi because this transport does not represent the professionalism we saw from the hotel. We could easily call a comfort car from Gojek with less cost and with bigger and comfortable car. It was not worth the money at all but still i wanted to give 10 stars because it is easily fixable. It just left a bitter taste in the end after almost perfect 5 days. But we would still come back to this place but not use the transport until we see the quality at the place as it should be.
Cozy, quality place which is 5-10 min away to Monkey forest, 20-25 min away to Ubud palace on foot. The hotel is secluded from the center of Ubud which gave us calm and quality time. The room were spacious and we loved the private outside pool which we spent looking at the great scenery. There is a hidden gem called Kalyana Restaurant, the hotels restaurant, where we preferred most of the time because it had more quality food than the places with "high stars" in center Ubud. The hotel was the highlight of our 5 day trip to Ubud

AustraliaBeautiful staff and the property was quite nice. Not as many amenities as you’d get in Uluwatu or somewhere with bigger hotels. It’s more of a boutique hotel. Unfortunately the monkeys are quite out of control and we didn’t actually use our outdoor pool as monkeys were constantly in the area swinging down into our terrace which made us feel a bit yuck

The staff were amazing, so attentive, polite and accommodating. The room was beautiful, the outdoor bath, plunge pool and shower looking out to the gardens were my highlights. The grounds were so lush and the restaurant pool over looking the rice field. Restaurant food and drinks were top! Lovely hotel, that felt intimate and not overcrowded.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The atmosphere is incredibly tranquil, making it the perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind. The interior decoration is tasteful and elegant, adding to the serene ambiance of the place. The food was delicious, with each dish being a delightful blend of flavors and beautifully presented. However, what truly stood out was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff and would like to highlight in particular Bayu, Ariani, Udayani , Ika , Ria and Jun (great chef)! From the moment we’ve arrived, we were treated with warmth and genuine hospitality. Every request was met with a smile and immediate attention, making our stay truly memorable. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

AustraliaThe monkeys can be intense when you first arrive but if you don’t feed them they’ll leave you alone. Don’t leave anything outside or they’ll take it! It’s a lovely resort and we were incredibly happy but don’t expect 5 star luxury.
The resort is quiet and private but still walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Absolutely loved the villa with private pool! The outdoor bath was a bonus. The main infinity pool was stunning and the breakfast’s are delicious. The spa was also fabulous! We had a really good couples massage.
