Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesAbsolutely fantastic stay at Tejaprana! The staff is incredibly helpful and ready to help with every request. The food was delicious, the rooms were so comfortable and everything was well thought of. We had the most delicious steamed white fish at dinner, and the chef even shared his recipe with us 🙏🏻 they also arranged for a day trip for us with a private driver, we saw the rice paddies, went on the famous Ubud Swing, visited a Temple, a coffee plantation with the most delicious coffee and ended the tour with the Monkey Forest which our kids loved. We also treated ourselves to a massage that was fantastic and we had the opportunity to make our own mosaic Bali bowls at the hotel, which we will have as a great souvenir of our time here. This was a once in a lifetime trip but I hope someday we can return as we really had such a nice time.

AustraliaThis was our 4th time staying at Tejaprana Resort in Ubud. We are in love with this property and the amazing staff! I honestly believe this is one of the best places to stay in Bali, and we’ve stayed at dozens of nice hotels in various locations. It’s quiet, very peaceful and relaxing, the room is great, the view is stunning, and the breakfast is great each morning. Already looking forward to our next stay!

AustraliaWe like the place very much. However, below are some proposed recommendations, predominantly around the restaurant and swimming pool: While the open-air restaurant is a non-smoking place, smokers are allowed to smoke outside the restaurant. However, some tables between restaurant and swimming pool are set very close to some restaurant tables. Guests who do not think of the impact of their smoking upon restaurant guests tend to sit there, which is very inconvenient. There are sitting/relaxation areas around the swimming pool. These are mainly sun lounges, tables and chairs for meals, and only one sitting area. We missed a few areas with low tables and comfortable chairs there that would invite relaxation for pre-dinner drinks or chatting. Such areas could be easily located in the current setting, replacing some current furniture. Some sun lounges chairs are set in the water if the swimming pool. While we do understand their purpose we did not see one single guest using them and questioned their necessity. They spoil the beauty of the swimming pool and may be better located somewhere else. While the restaurant staff was extremely efficient in the restaurant, restaurant service around the swimming pool seems to be non-existing, which is disappointing given the quality of all other services in the resort.
The resort has an authentic Balinese flair combined with some exquisite luxuries found in international resorts. The location of the resort is perfect for travellers who wish to escape the tohu-bohu of the centre of Ubud. It is conveniently located on a ridge, bordered on one side by luxurious jungle and on the other side by authentic Balinese shopping quarters. Driving to Ubud centre and exploring surrounding areas is convenient by scooter or car, even if lengthy due to heavy and slow traffic. The resort is beautifully presented and furnished, extremely well maintained and the staff is admirably well trained, courteous, friendly and helpful always. The rooms are well and elegantly equipped, offering beautiful views, very comfortable bedding and amenities of excellent quality. The restaurant offers a range of dishes inspired by various cuisines, and every meal is well presented and very tasty, at reasonable prices. The swimming pool is beautiful, not deep, surrounded by beautifully presented gardens. The spa offers a diverse menu and treatments are of high quality, performed by experienced therapists. We visited Tejaprana resort in February, during low season and there were no children around, which suited the context of the resort very well. We find it difficult to imagine the place without the peace and quiet we experienced from morning to evening. Families should think twice about staying there with children, as it is indeed a resort that is oriented towards relaxation. Maybe this could be an adult only resort. Although we are experienced travellers and easily critical of todays’ resorts, we were very happy guests for an entire week and would return any time.

AustraliaWe loved everything about Tejaprana resort.
Peaceful, tropical surrounds. The accommodation was designed to incorporate the beautiful forest and provide us with privacy. The villas were thoughtfully designed, spacious, light and airy with a traditional Balinese influence. The staff were exceptional, from front desk, restaurant staff to the thoughtful room attendants who were kind enough to move our clothes that were drying outside from the rain when we were out on a tour. The children loved the staff, they were so welcoming and kind to us. Even though a busy time of year we were lucky enough to have the main pool to ourselves. Highly recommended.

AustraliaRoom was AMAZING!! So peaceful, the little plunge pool was so refreshing. Was the most amazing experience relaxing in the pool looking over the jungle. The food here was also high quality, we ate all our meals here and didn’t get over it, there were still more things on the menu that we wanted to try but ran out of time. Great cocktails too. And the staff omg they were all so friendly and accommodating. I honestly couldn’t fault it, we absolutely loved it here and hope to be back in the future
