We have stayed many times at the Anvaya and it is one of a very few places that maintains its 5* rating. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The rooms and especially the comfortable beds and pillows and perfect. We have stayed in every room type except the private villas and they are all wonderful. Breakfast is the best we have had in Bali. It’s on the beach, beautiful gardens and a few pools.

Beach waves brought up a lot of stones so wasn’t overly comfortable to swim in, though not the hotel’s fault. Preferred the pools if you want a swim. Didn’t dine in the hotel’s restaurant as wasn’t a huge choice in the menu and was expensive compared to restaurants nearby.

Premier hotel that’s worth every penny. Was upgraded for free to a Premier room from Deluxe and it had stunning balcony views, larger room size etc. The bed was super large and comfortable and a spacious bathroom layout with plenty of extras. Laundry service was quick and efficient. Brilliant selection of pools with angled layout and being able to fully relax under the trees. Use of pool pillows which added a nice touch. Fun activities to also bring guests together. Cocktail and bar service can also be brought to your deck chairs. Direct access to the beach and to the hustle and bustle of Kuta with many shops and restaurants nearby. Immaculate condition across the hotel including a slick gym too. Breakfast buffet was vast with items from all around the world, never seen anything like it. Would not want to stay anywhere else in the area.

Free checkout to 1pm extension, but room card locked us out, so we had to go to reception at 12. Fitness room with 4 treadmills, 3 spin bikes. Weights only to 10kg and no machines. Not a gym, just a fitness room.

The hotel was amazing, shame we were only there for one night, but we are sure to return. really love the breakfast option, it was 'huge' and really good with so many options.

Pillows were a little too soft for my liking, but some people may enjoy a soft pillow. A pillow menu would be great addition to this resort.

We had a lagoon pool room which was fabulous. Being able to step out of your room straight into the pool was a definite bonus. The room was well air conditioned, mini bar restocked daily, and the bed was comfortable. A full buffet breakfast was included in our package which was a great start to the day.
