IndonesiaWhile comfortable, Botanica Sanctuary doesn't quite live up to a true 5-star standard. Comparisons to Vimalla Pullman and Royal Botanica highlight the differences in luxury and overall experience. It's a family hotel, however the kid's corner is small, and the lack of extensive outdoor activities for children is a drawback. More kid-focused entertainment would greatly enhance the family experience. The absence of an indoor gym is a notable omission, especially for those who prioritize fitness during their travels. The pool is relatively small and the water is quite cold, making it less than ideal for swimming. It's more of a decorative feature than a functional swimming pool. The excellent jacuzzi makes up for this.
Botanica Sanctuary delivers a solid experience without breaking the bank. The hotel is designed with families in mind, fostering a warm and welcoming environment. For families on a budget, it's a very attractive option. Its proximity to Taman Safari is a major advantage, making it convenient for families planning a visit. The breakfast spread is both nice and decent, offering a good variety of options to start the day, and the warm water in the kids' pool, especially given the cool mountain climate, is a thoughtful touch. The jacuzzi is a definite highlight, providing a relaxing experience.
